Wednesday needs to focus on the investigation of the murders happening. But when something happens, she sees a new side of Enid.

—————————————————-

Wednesday was pacing around her side of the room. She was still frustrated working on the investigation of the murders. She hung up an evidence board to the murders but she was still struggling. She hated this. Wednesday never struggles, especially when it comes to murders. The girl kept looking at all the facts slowly and carefully, she needed to figure out who this killer was. A masked killer. She had always found masked killers fascinating, now that she has to help solve who it is, she's annoyed. Though, she gives the killer some credit for doing well in covering their tracks.

Wednesday turned around to see her roommate walking out of the bathroom with slightly wet cotton-candy hair. Her eyes widened when she realized what Enid was wearing. Enid was still looking down as she continued to dry her hair with a towel. Wednesday stood there, not saying a word. She was just staring at Enid's sweater because it's not Enid's sweater.

"Is that my sweater?" She pointed at Enid's outfit. Enid was wearing a black and white sweater that definitely belonged to Wednesday.

The other girl turned her head. She slowly put her towel down, she looked terrified. Enid let out nervous giggles as she walked up to Wednesday.

"Oh, um, yes! I'm sorry, it's just that I spilled on my sweaters the other day and they aren't clean yet and I saw your sweater hanging on your bed and I just took it without asking. I'm sorry! It was just my only option and it feels really comfy." She was panicking, Wednesday yelling at her was the last thing she wanted.

Enid thought Wednesday was mad at her. In reality, Wednesday seeing Enid in her sweater made her heart race. Her cheeks turned into a soft red as she stared at her roommate. No. She needs to stop feeling like this.

"If you take my stuff again, I'll take your fangs and claws out." Wednesday glared at her.

"Are you mad at me? Do you want me to change?" The taller girl had a worried expression on her face. It was like looking at a sad dog. Enid has this look in her eyes that makes her nearly irresistible, Wednesday hates it.

"...No, just keep it on. I don't have time for this, I have to continue figuring out the murderer." She turned back to facing her board. Wednesday enjoyed the sight of her roommate wearing her sweater, but she couldn't let Enid know that. She used her investigation as an excuse to stop thinking about it.

"Thanks, Wends!" She grinned as she hugged Wednesday from behind. Right. Enid is extremely affectionate. Extremely is not an exaggeration.

"Never call me that again." Wednesday was losing her mind. Enid wearing her sweater, Enid's arms wrapped around her waist, Enid's head on her shoulder, Enid's nickname for her. Wednesday feels like she's about to explode, she hates everything about the way Enid is making her feel.

"It's a cute nickname, is it not?" She giggled.

"No, get off me." Wednesday pushed Enid off of her. Wednesday walked closer to her evidence board, she had to focus on the investigation.

"Okay, okay! Well, I'm gonna go to the library to study a bit! You wanna come?" She put her shoes on and grabbed her bag and phone.

"I don't have time. The killer's still on the loose, the chances of another murder happening are high. Doesn't matter to me, I think the killer's quite smart. Their way of killing is a fun and interesting choice. But, now that I'm involved in solving these, I might as well. I couldn't care less about the other students at this school being murdered but I guess I'm supposed to figure out which one of them is doing this."
