As the winter break was approaching on their new semester, the student population decided to celebrate it by decorating the school in festive colors and such.

A big pine tree stood in the middle of the foyer in the main entrance, filled to the brim with spheres, ribbons, and other trinkets that made it stand out even more. Some people even made decoy presents to put under the tree to help make it more authentic.

Since usually the students returned home for the holidays to spend it with their families, some decided to get their friends presents before everyone left home. Among those people was Enid Sinclair, who simply loved to shower others with gifts whenever possible.

She and Yoko were doing some Christmas shopping in Jericho that afternoon, going around looking what was best for each of their friends.

"I think I'll give Xavier this set of pencils to draw." The blonde showed her friend her latest acquisition.

"Yeah, I think he'll appreciate them." The vampire gave a nod of approval before returning to look at necklaces for her girlfriend.

"Found something for Divina yet?" Enid got curious and started looking at what was on display.

"I think she'll like this one." Pointing at the desired one, Yoko then asked the attendant to wrap it for her.

With her purchase in hand, alongside the rest of the gifts, she turns her attention to the werewolf. "Well, I got everything I need. You?"

Enid kept looking at the jewelry spotting a pretty moon shaped necklace made with onyx with a black chain. Oh my... She was mesmerized at the piece, the face of a certain someone coming to mind by just looking at it.

"I'll take this one," she exclaimed happily while pointing at the necklace for the attendant to wrap for her.

"A black moon... Wonder who'll get that one..." Yoko commented with some sarcasm.

"Shut it. I'm sure she'll love it."

"This is Addams we're talking about. I have my doubts on that."

"You don't know Wednesday like I do, she's a sweet person at times."

The two went out the door to the cold of the street, making their way to the Weathervane for a hot beverage to warm themselves before the trip back to school.

"Whenever I look at her, the only thing I see is a blank face or a glare, depending on her mood. How you see something different, I'll never understand." The vampire took a sit on one side of the booth, while her friend took the opposite one.

"Okay, she's not sweet with everyone, but that doesn't mean she isn't!" Enid kept defending her friend before a waiter came to take their order.

After the orders were given, the vampire gave her friend an unimpressed look while crossing her arms. "Are you sure this isn't your crush talking?"

The blonde's face got completely red at the words of her friend. Shaking her head from one side to the other erratically, she tried to deny everything "I don't have a crush on her! Where did you even get the idea?!"

The other girl's look didn't change except for an eyebrow that went up in what the other could read as skepticism.

Before more words could be said to try to convince her friend, their orders appeared, giving the werewolf an opportunity to quiet herself and let her blush recede.
