Summary:
Being in a secret relationship is easy for Enid and Wednesday when theyr're roommates; they can get away with a lot.
Until one day, someone interrupted them...TINY BIT OF SMUT BUT ALSO NOT?
——————————————————Nobody knew Wednesday and Enid were dating. There were many reasons for that; the main one being that they weren't exactly sure how everyone would react to a polyamorous relationship. You see, Enid was still dating Ajax, and happily doing so. Her claws only came out sometimes when they were making out. Ajax was also perfectly happy with Enid and Wednesday's relationship, understanding that it didn't make Enid love him any less (well, perhaps love was a bit strong of a word at this point in their relationship).
Still, just because the trio were okay with it, didn't mean the rest of the school would be. Especially with the amount of drama Wednesday caused during the first term, and the fact that they were roommates. There was just too much riding on it.
So, they kept it a secret.
"Howdy roomie-girlfriend," came Enid's voice from through the door. Wednesday looked up from her writing and gave her a rare smile. Enid walked towards her and gave her a peck on the lips.
"How was your date with Ajax?" Wednesday asked, always interested in how her girlfriend's day went.
"It was great! Super romantic as well. We went behind the greenhouse and had a picnic, then a heated makeout sesh afterwards," Enid finished with a wink.
"So I've got Ajax's germs on my lips as well as yours?" Wednesday asked with a disgusted expression.
"Whoops," Enid replied, half sheepishly, half apathetically. Wednesday deadpanned.
"You may be okay with having a boyfriend, but I'm not."
"Didn't you go on a date with Tyler last term?"
"And look at how that turned out."
Enid giggled. "Well, I'm sorry for that. I gotta shower anyway, then I'll be Ajax-free."
"Woohoo," Wednesday drawled.
Enid went to give her another kiss on the lips, then drew back with a sheepish laugh, before leaving. Wednesday went back to her writing, a small, loving smile etched on her face (not that she'd ever admit that).
Wednesday loved it when Enid came from the shower. Her face always had a rosy glow to it, against the dampness of her skin. She smelt like her familiar floral body wash that Wednesday had grown accustomed to. Enid was wrapped up in her snoodie with a pair of pink pyjama shorts underneath.
When she came in, Enid gave Wednesday another, longer kiss, even tracing her tongue over her lips, knowing she could. When they pulled apart, Wednesday gave her a glare, and was met back with a mischievous grin.
"I think I'm just gonna go paint my nails," Enid said, winking at Wednesday.
Wednesday stared at her for a few moments. The girl was teasing her. Despite everything, Enid could easily make Wednesday melt, as much as the goth hated it. And it was working today.
Wednesday let out a soft growl and went back to typing on her typewriter. She only had half a page to go.
All the while, Enid was humming under her breath as she painted her nails. She was no singer, but to Wednesday, it sounded like an angel was humming. Like a siren's call. Wednesday huffed - she really needed to focus.
