Enid discovers that she's a lesbian after kissing Wednesday.

——————————————————-

Enid was upset. It's not that Ajax, her boyfriend, had meant to upset her but you shouldn't really tell your girlfriend that she's a bad kisser.

Obviously Ajax meant no harm with his worlds and thought of them as friendly fire but Enid took it to heart, because how was she supposed to be a suitable mate for anyone if she can't kiss properly.

It's not like she enjoyed kissing and Enid knows how that sounds, he's her boyfriend she should enjoy kissing him. But she doesn't, actually she finds it rather boring, like kissing a wall.

Everyone else says that it's great and that kissing is something enjoyable by everyone but Enid thinks she missed the memo on that one or that she's a late bloomer in this one too.

But alas, this is how she ended up moping around her and Wednesday's dorm room to an infuriating extent that Wednesday had to finally acknowledge what she was doing. Not that Wednesday isn't already annoyed by Enid's every move.

Wednesday finished pinning new clues to her board. "What's wrong?" She asked turning around to stare at Enid, who was lying on her bed staring at the ceiling.

"Nothing's wrong, just distracted." Enid said.

Wednesday scoffs at that and Enid knows her answer wasn't good enough.

That's made more clear when Wednesday pops into view by standing over her.

"No something's wrong, you haven't been as happy or bouncy today. What is wrong?" Wednesday pushed.

Enid knew the girl was observant but she didn't think Wednesday would notice if something was bothering her.

Enid sighed. "Ajax said I wasn't that good at kissing and it's been bothering me all day because how am I supposed to find a mate if I can't kiss." She explained.

Wednesday bit the inside of her cheek clearly in thought. "Then practice, I'm positive that'd help."

Why didn't Enid think of it that way? Maybe she wasn't bad per se but inexperienced. Enid likes having Wednesday as her roommate, she's smart and that helps a lot of Enid's problems, to which Wednesday calls stupid.

"That's a good idea. With who though?" Enid asked.

If she would've known Wednesday's next answer would've been sarcastic maybe she wouldn't have told her anything.

"I don't know, maybe your boyfriend." She stated sarcastically.

Enid doesn't recall Wednesday being this sassy but it makes sense. Wednesday does have a certain attitude about her.

"But what if I don't improve with him? It's not like kissing Ajax is interesting or fun, actually it's quite boring to be honest." Enid explained. Wednesday shrugged at her, which was new, usually people would just say that the way Enid felt was weird and 'unnatural'.

"Kiss someone else then, experiment with who you kiss or what gender you kiss." Wednesday said. A compromise at last. Enid knew she could always count on Wednesday.

Enid sits up abruptly, almost knocking into her roommate.

"That's a great idea, quick question though, with who?" Enid may be a little dumb to Wednesdays standards but even Enid, herself, knows that that was a stupid question.
