Our little one is already three months old and I die of love every day for him. I love spending time with him and I can't wait to leave work to come home and be with my beautiful family.
Scarlett and I decided to split the chores, since I was taking care of everything because I wanted her to just rest.
"Honey, can you go to the supermarket?" Scarlett asked from the kitchen.
"Sure, make me the list of what's missing and I'll go immediately" I answered from the living room, where I was watching a movie with Matteo and Rose.
"Mommy, can you bring some gummy bear?" Rose asked giving me her puppy look.
"Sure, nugget" I replied with a smile.
"Here, it is" Scarlett said, handing me a list "Please, follow the list. Don't start throwing unnecessary things into the cart"
"Pff, I always follow the list" I said in an offended tone.
"The other day you bought a rainbow cake" She said raising an eyebrow "Why did we need a rainbow cake?"
"To eat it, obviously" I said sure of myself.
"Follow the list, Marchetti" Scarlett said in a bossy tone.
"So bossy" I said, handing Matteo over to her.
When I got to the supermarket, I took the list and started walking the aisles looking for the products.
When I got to the one with the sauces, I saw a blonde head of hair that I knew perfectly well.
"Lizard" I said almost in a whisper and when she turned around she gave me a huge smile.
"Alex" She said walking quickly towards me to hug me "I was just thinking of calling you"
"Something happened?" I asked worried and she shook her head.
"Robbie had to go back to Los Angeles and I don't want to be alone" She said pouting.
"You know that you are always welcome in our house" I said giving her a smile.
As I talked to Lizzie, my eyes went behind her.
"Thank god Scarlett's not here" I said making Lizzie frown.
"Alex, I knew it was you" Lauren said.
You remember Lauren, right?
"Hey Doc" I said giving her a small smile.
"I'm so glad to see you" She said giving me a hug that took me by surprise "I'm still waiting for that coffee"
"Sorry, I haven't had much time" I said embarrassed "With my job, moving to a new hoyse and the baby already..."
"The baby?" She asked interrupting myself.
"Yes, I have a three month old baby" I answered softly.
"Oh" She said disappointed "But maybe you can make me some time in your schedule" She said winking at me.
"Hahaha" I said laughing stupidly.
"Hello, I'm Elizabeth" Lizzie said interrupting our conversation "Her best friend"
"Oh, yeah" Lauren said excitedly, "You're the girl from Marvel"
"Yes, that's me" She said, smiling falsely at her "Alex, we must get home to prepare dinner"
"Right, sorry Lauren" I said looking at my Doctor "I have to go now"
"Don't worry" She said giving me a smile "I'm waiting for that coffee, Marchetti"
