Blanche chatted away with Leena while going over the books with her dad for one of their many businesses. Carter was trying to teach Blanche the art of cleaning their money but she was to preoccupied in her phone to pay attention. "Blanche." Her father sternly calls her name. She turns to him, noticing the scowl on his face. "Ima have to call you back, girl." She tells Leena before disconnecting the call. "I need you to be focused." He scowls her. "I know, I'm sorry." She replies sliding her phone into her back pocket. Carter was only hard on Blanche because he needed her to understand to importance of how one number could throw their whole operation off. A beep comes through on the intercom as Carter's assistant voice comes out the speaker, of the phone sitting on his desk. "Mr. Grambling, your 12:30 is here." "Send him in." Carter tells her pressing the answer button. The door opens and in saunters Juice, casually dressed in an black A Bathing Ape hoodie, black Nike sweats and black and white Jordan 1s. The only jewelry he wore was a two diamond linked chains adoring his neck and diamond gold studs. He always reminded her of Trevanté Rhodes. He definitely fit the description of tall, dark and handsome. Blanche tells her self to calm down, but she's unable to stop herself from swooning over Juice. Yes he was her father's right hand man but more importantly, Juice, was Blanche's first everything. "What's up old head?" He says to Carter, dapping him up before turning his attention to Blanche. "What's up B?" Juice he casually says, calling her by her nickname. "Hey Juice." She replies, trying to remain unfazed by his presence. Once upon a time ago, Juice was hers, but they parted ways romantically over a year and a half ago. Blanche felt it was for the best. She genuinely loved Juice and wanted nothing more for him to be happy, but they were young and made tons of mistakes in the relationship. Petty mistakes, mistakes out of spite, and mistakes that cost them a life. So she walked away. Blanche didn't think it was fair to keep him around just to make herself happy, when she wasn't being faithful. Even though, it did sting when Blanche found out he had a baby on the way. However in Blanche fashion, she remained unmoved. For a moment, Juice checks out Blanche. Even dressed down, she was still one of the finest chicks he'd ever seen. He wished things were different between them, but they both have a lot of growing up to do. Carter, being the observer he was, noticed the energy between his daughter and Juice, who he viewed like a child of his own. "What's the word about our meeting with the washer?" Carter speaks, diverting Juice's attention from Blanche. "He said he could meet up in two weeks. Once he was back in town, he's gonna hit me to set up a meeting." Juice announced, focusing back on Carter. Juice had arranged a meeting with a man who was infamous for cleaning dirty money. He had a reputation of cleaning the money for white collar, Wall Street stock and investment brokers, who'd liked to stash away parts of their clients money for themselves. Carter knew that with their money in his hands, there was no way he could ever be indicted of a federal crime for his drug money. "Bet. Let me know once he hits you. I want you and Blanche running point on this." Carter says. Blanche's ears perk up at the sound of her name and Juice silently groans. It wasn't that he didn't want Blanche to come along, because if their was anyone he'd commit a crime with it be her. But Blanche had this aura about her that just attracted men to her and Juice wasn't willing to take any chances and their new business partner becoming infatuated with her. "You sure?" Juice questioned making Blanche smack her lips. "What? You don't think I can do it?" She said, defensively. Juice rubs his fresh cut, before shaking his head, "Nah, B. It's not that." Juice replied, careful with his words knowing how sensitive Blanche could be. "Well what?" Blanche pressed. "I mean, I just don't wanna risk it. The whole reason we're doing this is because we can't work with Indie anymore." Juice replied, speaking his truth. Blanche rolls her eyes in response. "It's not my fault that nigga is a weirdo." Blanche protest. "No, but I did warn you about mixing business and pleasure." Carter said, finally weighing in as Blanche scoffs. She hated to admit it but this was the one time her father was right. Getting involved with Indie was the wrong choice. She'd learned her lesson but now they were stuck in this ordeal. Blanche groans, switching her weight in her stance. "And I learned my lesson, so can we drop it?" Blanche insisted eyeing Juice. "Aight. I'll let you know once I find out." Juice replied. "Now as fun as this has been." Blanche starts, picking up her Fendi cross-body bag, "I have plans." She said, walking towards the door and waving them goodbye.
