Later that evening Blanche laid on her couch, showered and drained from her day as her doorbell rings. She gets up, looking through the peep-hole, before opening the door. A lazy smile appears on her face as Grey wraps his strong arms around her. Blanche instantly melts in his hold, missing the feel of his comfort all day. "How was your day?" Grey asked, letting her go entering her apartment, closing and locking the door behind him. "Long. I'm glad it's over." Blanche replied, returning to her seat on the couch. Grey comes over and lifting her, before placing her in his lap. "You miss me?" He whispered, placing a kiss on her neck, smelling a mixture of soap and her perfume. "Always." She purrs, throwing her head back, giving her full access as he trails his kisses down to her collar bone. "Move in with me." Grey randomly said, out the blue and Blanche lifts her head, scanning his eyes to see if he was joking. "You're joking." "I'm not. Foreal, move in with me, ma." Blanche stays silent for a moment, taking his request in. "I can't move in with you, Grey. My dad would get suspicious." Blanche finally replied. Grey smacks his lips, unhappy with her response. "He's gonna have to find out eventually, why not just tell him now?" Blanche shrugged, not replying again. Only because she didn't have a real reason not to tell her dad. Yes, the shit was messy with Grey being Zora's dad and their business partner. But their relationship started way before Blanche knew that. So by default, she was innocent. However, she didn't know if Carter would view it that way. Especially because Blanche had more than several chances to cut ties with Grey. But truthfully, she didn't want to. He was everything she needed, even if she didn't know it yet. "Plus, ma. You grown and carrying my child. I need you home with me every night." Grey suggestively insisted, rubbing his hand over her belly. As nice as it all sounded, Blanche just didn't know if it was possible. "Grey..." She protest, placing her hand over his, "Not yet, okay? Besides, once I tell him, Zenobia will know and I don't know how she's gonna take it." "I mean, there's nothing for her to say. We been over." "Still Grey, how would you feel if partner's child starting dating your ex? You can't lie and say it's not a little weird." "Probably," He laughs, "But who gives a fuck? Shit happens for a reason, ma. I ain't gon lie. A nigga was real reckless in the past and never once have I accidentally knocked anyone up until now. Z was planned so in my eyes, it's fate." Blanche softly, chuckled, shaking her head in disbelief. "Or just plain recklessness on both our parts." She suggest, not believing the fate part. "Nah it's fate. He choices who is born." Grey replied, as his words fall on Blanche deeply and tears form in the corner of her eyes. "Yo what's wrong?" Grey questioned, noticing she was upset. "Nothing," She replied, wiping her eye. Little did Grey know, was that Blanche was pregnant once before. It was a pregnancy that was cut short after a heated argument with Indie. Blanche didn't talk about it much or really let herself think about it, however lately, it was something that constantly ran through the back of her mind. Especially after Leena's comment earlier. The child she'd lost because she didn't love herself enough to walk away from a relationship that only caused her turmoil. Blanche prayed she wasn't making the same mistake again. "Tell me, ma." He softly urges, placing his forehead against hers, gently rubbing her neck. Blanche stares at him for a moment, deciding if she should tell him or not. "I was pregnant once before." She softly admits. She had so much shit she was keeping from everyone in her lift, that the weight on her chest was heavy. So she had tell Grey at least some of her truth, to relieve it. "What happened?" Grey concernedly ask, waiting for her response. "I had a miscarriage after I got into a fight with an ex." She obscurely replies, thinking back on that night. It was one of the main reasons she finally found the strength to walk away from Indie. His anger was unpredictable and irrational and she lost her child because of it. "What kinda fight?" Grey probed, hoping it wasn't what he was thinking. Blanche didn't seem like the type to deal with an abusive nigga, but then again what does the type real look like? Blanche sighs deeply, looking away from his interrogating eyes. This is exactly why she avoided ever telling anyone. She didn't want the pity or deal with the disappointed looks. "The exact kinda fight you're thinking. He was married and I gave him an ultimatum. Which he didn't like so he pushed me down a flight of stairs." She discloses and Grey goes quiet. "What's the nigga's name?" He demandingly questioned and Blanche picks up on his anger. "It's doesn't matter, Grey." "Fuck you mean it doesn't matter? Your peeple's know bout' this?" "No, I never told anyone until now. Just forget I even said anything." Blanche says, regretting opening her mouth and trying to get up, but Grey pulls her back down. "Nah ma, I can't just forget what you said. The nigga needs to be dealt with." Grey urgently insist. "Grey, no because then you're gonna do something stupid and I promise you he's not worth it." Blanche says with pleading eyes. The last thing she wanted was for Grey to go after Indie and start an all out war. What happened, happened and Blanche had rather keep the shit in the past. "Trust me, whatever I do will be calculatedly handle." He proclaims. Grey never respected a man who abused women and he was making it his main mission to find out who and where this nigga was. He was going to make it know that fucking with Blanche meant death.
