"Why you introduce us if you knew that you was with him? Made me shake his hand when y'all been fucking for a minute... You got better when you met me and that ain't coincidental. Tried to bring the best out you, guess I'm not that influential. Guess I'm not the one that's meant for you. I can hear your tears when they drop over the phone. Get mad at myself 'cause I can't leave you alone. Gossip, being messy, that ain't what we doing."

Grey was cross faded as he sat in the smokey trap as the sounds of Wait for u by Future featuring Drake and Tems loudly echoed off the walls. He was in the zone, counting a stack of unmarked bills. His brother, Naaziq was to the left of him with some chick he'd been recently dating, in his lap as her friend sat across from Grey eyeing him down. He piqued the lust in her eyes the moment Naaz introduced them, however Grey genuinely wasn't interested. His mind was in a thousand and one places. The last thing on his mind was entertaining an overzealous broad. Most of his time and nights lately, where spent in the trap, distracting himself and focusing on the one constant in his life: money. Plus after the successful hit Blanche's people's did on Indie's stash houses, Grey was focused on the next stage of his plan. With his funds low and looking to re-up, Indie was vulnerable and Grey planned on using that to his advantage. Even though shit between him and Blanche was still strained, Grey wasn't pushing pause on his play to make Indie pay. If Indie stayed alive, Blanche nor their child wouldn't ever be safe and Grey was willing to risk taking that chance by letting it go because they'd broke up. Blanche was currently 30 weeks pregnant and things between them were extremely difficult. Grey still didn't feel as he could trust her and Blanche didn't know how to convince him that he could. However, Grey couldn't just walk away. They were having a child together and unfortunately he still loved the hell outta her lyin' ass. No matter what though, he would be around for his child. If he was a fuck nigga, Grey would've probably dipped but that was out of his character. He couldn't ever abandon his children, especially being a child who was abandoned by their own parent. Grey knew what that hurt and confusion felt like and couldn't place that type of trauma on his seed. "My nigga, put the money down and join in on the party." His brother encouraged, pulling his attention away from the money. Grey shot him a yeah right look, before turning his focus back to his count. "Yeah, don't you like to have fun?" The girl asked. "Getting money is my fun." Grey plainly replied. "You need to widened your interest." She flirted back. Grey lowly chuckled at her flirtatious behavior, massaging his beard, and glancing her over. She was fine as hell and any nigga with eyes could see that. A few months ago, he'd knock her down without thinking twice about it. Now though, Grey simply wasn't interested in any other chick. That's what Blanche did to him and he felt like a fool because the whole time she was claiming her love to her ex nigga. "What's your name?" He questioned mostly because he forgot it to moment Naaz introduced them. "Reign." She replied. "As fine as you are, Reign, a nigga just ain't interested." He bluntly told her, watching the disappointment wash over her face. "Whoever she is, she must be a lucky girl." She countered as Blanche crossed his mind and he went back to focusing on his count, saying nothing, but the thought of her was heavily on his mind. Night like this, Grey used to pull up on her with no warning after spending his days in the trap and knock her shit down until the wee hours of the morning. Yet now, he was hesitant on pulling up on her without a warning. Truthfully, Grey hated to come across something he wasn't meant to see because there would be no coming back from that. They weren't together, so if she was tryna get back with her ex nigga there was nothing stopping it now. They hadn't spoke in two days, not since her last doctor's appointment. Blanche tried to clear the air and was hoping to work things out, but Grey couldn't see that happening anytime soon. He was still feeling deceived by her choice to keep the truth from him. So Grey iced her out and only contacted her when it came to doctors appointments and her birthing classes. Ever since Indie, pulled up to the last one, Grey swore to never miss another one no matter his current feelings towards her. Pulling out his phone, he scrolls to her name is his text message thread. He was inebriated and his resolve wasn't as solid with the weed and liquor flowing through his system and frankly all he wanted to do was slide between her thighs and hear her moaning his name in his ear, begging for more.
