Thursday night ・❥・
11:56 pm

Blanche stood outside the restaurant waiting for Mouse to pull up while she complained to Leena on FaceTime about how bad her date with Trust ended up being.
"Girl that nigga was a lame. I left his black ass sitting alone at the table." Blanche told her. In the background, Blanche could hear Leena's son crying.
"It couldn't have been that bad, B." Leena insisted, while trying to get her son to latch but he was being fussy.
"Bitch, it was and to top everything off, you wouldn't believe who I ran into on a double date with Talia."
"Who?" She asked.
"Fucking Grey."
"I mean so? Didn't y'all just hook up that one night?" Leena questions, confused to why Blanche was upset.
"Nah girl, the dick was too good. I had to double back a few times." Blanche half jokes.
"Mhm." Leena muttered. Frankly, Leena was still a bit salty of Grey choosing Blanche over her but Leena should have been used to it by now. That was just how things worked out in their friendship, Leena was never the first choice if Blanche was around.
"Mhm what?"
"Nothing, I'm just confused on why your upset. You typically don't catch feelings for niggas." Leena was usually the one of them falling head over hells in love, not Blanche.
"Yo Blanche!" She hears Trust, yelling seeing him walk out of the restaurant with an angry scowl on his face.
"Let me call you back girl." She tells Leena before hanging up the FaceTime call.
"What?" Blanche dryly asked.
"Where the fuck you goin'?" He barked, stepping in her comfort zone. She takes a step back, but he comes closer.
"First of all, back the fuck up." Blanche angrily replied, uncomfortable with his aggression and wondering what was taking Mouse so long. Her purse of her choosing for tonight was way too small to carry her gun in, but she was thankful for the small can a pepper spray she had inside.
"Nah, how you just gon' walk out on me after I flew out here to see yo gold diggin' ass?" Trust barks bitterly. Blanche slightly chuckles, shaking her head in disbelief.
"We got a problem, my nigga?" Blanche hears Grey's voice, turning and seeing him a couple feet away. She didn't know where he came from, but she was appreciative for his presence.
"This don't concern you, my nigga." Trust hostility said. Grey gets closer, stepping between Trust and Blanche. Grey stands with his hand clasped in front of himself, before asking Trust again, "Like I said, we got a problem my nigga?" Grey pressed again.
Trust sneered at Grey, staring him up and down.
"Don't be captain save a hoe and get yo ass murked. The bitch ain't worth it." Trust viscously stated. Grey mugs him in response, unmoved by his threat.
"Watch your mouth, lil nigga." Grey warned him.
"Or what?" Trust urged in his thick New York accent. Grey rubbed his goatee, staring at Trust maliciously before swiftly punching him square in the face. Trust falls to the floor as blood splatters over his shirt. "Bitch ass nigga." Grey heatedly mutters before turning to Blanche.
"You good, ma?" He concernedly asked. When he saw Trust rushing out of the restaurant after her, he knew nothing good could follow. For some reason, Grey felt this sense of needed to protect her.
"Yeah." Blanche replied, staring at Trust being helped off the ground by one of the valets.
"See what happens when you accept dates from lame ass niggas." Grey teased, making Blanche roll her eyes. She wanted to tell him this could have been avoided if he ever asked her out on a date, but Blanche fought off that urge. Honestly she felt if Grey thought she was worth a date, he would have been asked.
It was obvious Grey was capable of dating, seeing him on a double date with Talia. Maybe it was just Blanche, he didn't want to date. Blanche couldn't play herself like that, knowing she was worthy of that and so much more. In that moment, she realized, it was time for her to back away from Grey. Her feelings were getting to involved and something that started as a one night stand, was starting to feel like something more.
Mouse finally pulls jumping out of the car, seeing Trust being helped off the floor.
"Is everything alright?" Mouse asked Blanche rushing over to her.
"I'm fine, Mouse." Blanche reassures him.
"Thanks for...you know...knocking that niggas ass out." Blanche thanked him as she started to walk towards the truck.
"Hol' on ma. Where you goin'?" Grey asked, pulling Blanche back by the wrist.
"What? I'm going home." Blanche responded as her brows frown in confusion.
"Why? The night is young. Come spend it with me." Grey enticingly urged, wrapping his arms around her shapely waist.
"Nigga, aren't you in the middle of a date?" Blanche remind him.
"Meet me at the crib." He insisted and her eyes narrow into slits as she eyes Grey for a moment. Blanche didn't do second place and it was starting to feel like that's where Grey was placing her. No matter, how good his dick was Blanche could never settle for being a second option. So she decided to opt out of their sexcapades for tonight.
"Mmm, I'll take a rain check." Blanche told him, pulling herself away and walking towards the truck. If their relationship was gonna be a sexual transaction, then it would be on her terms. That way Blanche could protect her heart and keep her feelings out of the equation.
