4:31pm
In a matte black, Mercedes G-wagon sat Grey and Brick, smoking a blunt and discussing their next move. "You get that info on that nigga?" Brick asked. Grey shook his head no as his phone began to ring for the millionth time. He exhales deeply, hitting the blunt and glancing at Ash calling once again. She'd been blowing him up for the past couple of hours after he posted Blanche's pregnant belly on his Instagram. Grey knew Ash was calling looking for an explanation, but frankly he didn't have one. He was hoping after a while, she'd get a clue and get over it. It sounded cruel to just ghost her, but that was the only viable option for their situation. Him and Blanche were having a child and Grey planned on giving his child a two parent home.
"Man, who blowin' you up like that?"
"Ash." Grey replies, passing him the blunt.
"She must have seen your post. All yo bitches gon' be mad you off the market." Brick jokes.
"I ain't worried about them hoes, man. I'm focused on my bread, Z, and Blanche. That's it." Grey declares.
"Yo ass is sprung, nigga." Brick snickers, shaking his head in amusement.
"Man, fuck you. Don't act like Talia don't got you wrapped around her silver spoon." Grey contests, laughing back.
"I ain't denying she don't." Brick replies with a grin. "Aye nigga we really bag two fine ass, spoiled ass, rich ass women. Who would've thought?" Brick says making Grey reminisce of their childhood growing up in slums of Brooklyn. Grey remembered the days when there wasn't even enough food on the table to feed him and his siblings. Now he had enough more to feed an entire village. Thinking of Blanche, Grey picks up his phone and shoots her a text.
Grey: What you on ma?
Blanche: Nothing. Home with Z, we're having a sleepover.
Grey: Say less. I'm on my way.
Blanche: No boys allowed, lol.
Grey chuckles, sliding his phone back into his pocket. "I'm out, nigga." Grey tells Brick dapping him up.
"Aight. Let me know once you found out." Brick replies, climbing out of the vehicle, closing the door. Grey pulls off, heading towards Blanche's apartment. He didn't give a fuck what she said. If she was watching his daughter tonight, Grey was joining them with or without her blessing. Shit, he wanted to relax and spend time with his two favorite girls and his unborn child.

"Let it go, let it go..." The sounds of Elsa singing 'Let it go' from Frozen played loudly as Blanche and Zora sang along. They were in her living room, rewatching Frozen, for the billionth time. Zora was super animated, pretending she was Elsa waving her hand around like a wand. The sound of a knock on the front door, interrupts Blanche's singing. She rises from her sit, getting up and looking through the peephole. Standing on her toes, Blanche glances through the peephole, surprised to see Grey. She was confused to why he was here, especially after she just informed him she was watching his daughter tonight.
"Open up, B." Grey shouts from the other side of the door. Blanche was unsure if she should. If she let Grey in, then there would be a lot of questions from Zora and Zora didn't know how to hold water and whatever she saw or overheard could be repeated to Zenobia.
"Is that my daddy?" Z questioned, leaning over the back of the couch, pointing at the front door. Blanche sighs, shaking her head and saying a silent prayer that whatever happened after she opened this door, didn't royally fuck up everything in her life.
Blanche opens the door, seeing Grey, looking panty droppin' fine, with a mischievous grin plastered on his face.
"I thought I told you no boys?" Blanche says, blocking his path from entering her apartment.
Grey lowly chuckles, licking his lips and rubbing his hands over his fresh fade.
"I ain't tryna hear all that, ma. I came to chill with my two favorite girls." He replies, making Blanche's heart skip a beat as she tries to hold back her smile. "Hopefully it will be three." Grey continues, reaching out and rubbing her belly. The crop top she wore revealed her small pudge. Blanche playfully rolls her eyes at him stepping back and allowing him to enter.
"Daddy, why you here?" Z asked as Grey makes himself comfortable on the couch, kicking off his shoes.
"I came to hang out with you and B." Grey tells her as Zora climbs into his lap. Blanche sits on the opposite side, keeping space between them. Zora was already questioning why Grey was here and Blanche didn't need Zora peeping any physical intimacy between them. Yes she was only six, but Zora was smart and kids picked up on things more than adults realized.
"I didn't know you knew my sissy." Z suspiciously replies.
"I know her real well, Z." Grey states, suggestively staring at Blanche. "Why you all the way over there, ma?"
"You know why, Grey." Blanche matter of factly says as Grey smacks his lips. He wasn't trying to hear that. He didn't give a fuck if Zenobia found out. The truth would have to be revealed soon enough.
"Come." He commands and Blanche rolls her eyes upwards before obliging. She takes a seat next to Grey as he gazes into her eyes. He couldn't get over how beautiful she looked with her hair pulled back into a low ponytail and a bare face. She didn't know it yet, but Blanche held a special place in Grey's heart and it wasn't only because she was carrying his child.
"What?" Blanche grilled.
"Nothing, ma." He nonchalantly says, wrapping his arm around her shoulder, and pulling her into him. I could definitely get used to this, Grey thought as Zora rested in his lap and Blanche next to him. His day of running the streets were coming to an end and Grey wanted nothing more than to relax and enjoy the fruits of his labors with his own little family by his side.
