MISS NOT PERFECT

CHAPTER 13

Monday.

We heard another confrontation in front of my classroom.

"You witch! Mang-aagaw!"

"Kasalanan ko bang iwan ka ng boyfriend mo?"

I saw Maycy.

The girl's immediately grabbed Maycy's hair pero may biglang humila kay Maycy palayo sa mga tao. It's Mr President. The students were left out speechless. The class has started but Mr President cutted the morning subjects. I ate my lunch with Kerr and Lea and the other people who always shares our table except for President.

I didn't eat my sandwich. I still have one hour free time. Pumunta ako sa rooftop, then I saw President sitting on the ground. Nilapitan ko siya. Umupo ako kaharap niya then I realized he's sleeping. I thought he's just the typical arrogant boy, but what he did kanina, I know he's kind but bad-mouthed though.

I lean closer and patted his head to wake him up. I saw his shocked face after he opened his eyes.

"M-mikki?"

I frowned. Bakit gulat na gulat siya?

Lumayo ako ng konti sa kanya then inabot ko yung sandwich.

"For me?" turo niya sa sarili niya.

I nodded.

"Bakit mo ko binibigyan?"

"Thanks" then I smiled.

He made something cool but still, I can't remember his name.

Tumayo na ko pagkakuha niya ng sandwich at umalis na. Pumunta ako sa library. Rumors were spread that fast.

"So, it's true. May relasyon si Maycy at Ivan?"

"Imposible"

"True! Hinila kanina ni Ivan si Maycy doon sa babaeng sumasabunot sa buhok ni Maycy!"

Napailing na lang ako.

There are gossips everywhere.

Pumunta na ko sa room ko and I saw President sitting beside my seat.

I sat down.

"Im confused" he said pagkaupo ko.

I looked at him, frowning.

"Bakit ka nagthank you?"

I just shrugged.

I heard him sighed afterwards.

I've focused on the dicussions and went outside after the prof announced that the class has dismissed.

"Miks!" Lea's panting. "Let's go"

She dragged me immediately after I nodded.

"Why are you in a hurry?" I asked.

"Did you forgot that your sister's gonna visit?"

I know she don't need to continue what she has about to say. We walked faster that normal. Kinda excited to go home. Until we saw a commotion on the hallway.

Same old story.

Yes, it's still Maycy who always got bullied.

I'm wondering how she got those hates. Envy perhaps?

I shooked my head.

We stopped and stood there, watching them throwing hurtful words towards Maycy.

"Pathetic" Kerr rest his arms on my shoulder.

I looked at him and he just smiled.

"Witch! Mang-aagaw! Ano bang ginawa mo kay Ivan ha? Siguro ginayuma mo siya no?!"

"Bakit hindi ka magsalita dyan? Totoo siguro na ginayuma mo si Ivan!"

"Witch!"

They never stop chanting ang shouting.

I look around and I saw President approaching the students who are making scenes. But I was shocked when he stopped in front of me.

"As a student council, you should stop them not watch them. We're responsible in this don't you remember?"

I shrugged. As if I care.

I was just forced to join this student council thing so, I dont care.

"Tumigil na kayo bago ko kayo idetention"

"Ivan!"

"Ivan! Siya lang dapat ang idention mo! You see? Siya lang naman ang nagpapagulo dito e"

"Shut up!"

"Pero Ivan"

"I said shut up! Lahat kayo, pumunta sa detention!"

"No way!"

Then all of them got detention.

We all thought it was over but someone budge in.

"Guess what!?" The SC President says.
Together with her minions, I could say.

"This girl is fake!" she shouted out loud. Everyone's stop and stared at her waiting for her next words. "She's fake! Niloloko niya tayo. Hindi talaga siya mayaman!"

Everybody gasped.

"What?! No way! Di ba siya yung anak ni Dr. Cenon? Yung magaling na doctor? Yung mayaman?!"

"The late Dr. Cenon. I've heard from my father that she's not the real daughter of Dr. Cenon."

"Really?"

"She's adopted" Sc President smirked and glanced at Maycy who doesn't seem affected.

"Sino daw ang real parents?"

"I dunno. Maybe some basurero na hindi afford mag-alaga ng bata kaya siya pinamigay. Poor Maycy"

I shook my head.

People really are judmental. Indeed.

They always believed in gossips without confirming first what's true and not.

"Ang kapal ng mukha mong mangkulam at mang-agaw ng may boyfriend ng may boyfriend e ampon ka lang pala! Tapos ipagmamayabang mong anak ka ni Dr. Cenon?!"

Hindi sumagot si Maycy, she's just staring blankly to Sc President.

"Then you still have guts to look at me like that? Who do you think you are?"

Maycy smirked. "I'm Maycy Cenon" she said.

SC Pres laughed. "Unbelievable!"

"Why?" Maycy asked.

"Pathetic witch! You're poor, you should stop and drop out since you can't afford the tuition fee in this school.

"Is that so? I can still apply for scholarship"

"Tsk. Then try if you can pass. Goodluck. Have a nice day" Sc President smirked and passed her by.

She stopped in front of me and shocked registered her face when she saw Kerr. I shook my head and started walking to Kerr's car.

"What are you looking at?" Inis na sabi ni Kerr.

I turned my back and watched them as I leaned my back on Mikay.

"K-kerr. Uh.. Hi Im--" SC President tried to introduce herself but Kerr didn't bother look at her.

"Get inside Princess" Kerr said to me and passed SC President by.
