CHAPTER 59

Mikki's POV

The Four stupid Letter-word.

This is stupid. I guess.

'People who stares at you more than two seconds might be thinking either bad or good things about you'

Lance.

I noticed it. Since i saw him on my house and walked out without talking to me, i noticed that he always stares at me.

Stare back. When they averted their gaze, it's either they're guilty or intimidated by you.

I dunno why im reading this. And actually considering this steps. So, when i caught his eyes, i stared at him.

How would i know if he's guilty or intimidated? Tss. The book didn't say. Tss.

How would i know what he was thinking?

"Let me help you" Lea said.

I told her everything that i've observed about Lance. She said Lance likes me.

I know right.

We finished our breakfast and headed to school this early. Im not surprised when there's no students yet. We're way too early.

We walked at my classroom. I choose to sit at the back, Lea sat beside me. Minutes had passed when Lance entered the room. He stood at the door when he saw us, but immediately smiled and greeted us.

"Good morning!"

"Morning" Lea greeted back, the she elbowed me.

"Morning" i said.

I saw him stopped and stared at me with an obvious shock expression registered on his face. What's shocking about it?

I leaned my back against the seat and arched my eyebrows. He then smiled at me "Finally, for the first time, you greeted me back" he said.

I frowned and shook my head.

He sat beside me. I looked at Lea who stood up and walked towards Lance. I looked at Lance and he's still staring at me but diverted his gaze when Lea rest both of her hands on Lance's desk and leaned forward.

Lance suddenly back away whilst Lea was slowly closing the distance between their faces.

I watched his reaction.

I can't figure out the difference. Lea have to ask what he was thinking.

My frown deepened when Lance slightly pushed Lea away from him.

"What was that?" Lance asked. Suprised and shocked was written on his face.

Lea grinned and shrugged.

I felt the presence on the door and i saw Lance friends. The girl with pink ribbon looked shocked and the guy - whom Lea's avoiding - shook his head.

"Miks. I'll go ahead" Lea said. "We'll talk later" She smiled at Lance then exited.

"Dude"

I jammed my earphones in my ears and closed my eyes. I frowned and open my eyes when someone pulled out my earphone. I turned my head at my left side and i saw Lance. I frowned.
