CHAPTER 62

"Goodluck" Lea tapped my shoulder and smiled.

I sighed. "Yeah. Goodluck sakin"

She chuckled. "You know what? Mikki was obsessed with flowers. No doubt she liked those artificial roses."

"You think so?" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.

"I don't just think. Im sure of it" she said" she shrugged. "Thank you, in behalf of her" she smiled.

I was sitting at the back and stared at Mikki's back wondering why she's ignoring me. Was she really mad because i held her hand?

"Class dismissed" Mr. Ramos said.

Mikki stood up and immediately exited the room. I followed suit. She's really ignoring me.

Sabay pa din naman kaming tatlo nila Lea na naglunch sa rooftop but i felt something wrong. In a normal state, Mikki would stare at me with a creased on her forehead, hence, she'd always stared back. Pero ngayon, hindi pa nagtatama ang mga mata namin kahit isang segundo.

Or maybe im just paranoid.

I stopped when i saw Kerr waiting for her. Mikki grabbed Kerr by the arm and dragged him away.

I was rooted on the spot. Flabbergasted even.

That was the first time i ever saw Mikki dragged someone. She never did that before. She's not that type.

I sighed and decided to just let go of this for now.

"Did Mr. Meneses baked you cupcakes again?" I overheard Mr. Sy asked laughing.

This professor's really testing my temper. I balled my palm into a fist and took a deep breath.

I was looking for a literature book when i accidentally saw Mikki and Mr Sy at the very corner of the library which startled me. What are they doing there?

I went to the bookshelf near them and pretended reading as i sat down on the ground whilst i leaned my back against the shelf.
"Miks. Will you come with me now?"

I tried to peep but i couldn't see Mikki's face. He's blocking it. Then i heard footsteps, that's why i had to stood up and back to pretending looking for a book. Though, im really looking for a book but not in this section.

I saw Mikki walked out followed by Mr. Sy in quiet a distance. He should think the fact that he cannot be romantically involve with his student! I greeted my teeth.

Im wondering where this anger coming from. I've been feeling too much jealousy right now.

I want to follow them but i resisted. I can't be nosy over her. I respect her privacy even if it's killing me, i won't go overboard.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I decided to find what i really came here for.

"Hindi mo ba susundan?" halos mapatalon ako sa kinatatayuan ko nang biglang may magsalita sa likod ko.

Tumingin ako sa likod. "Camille! Muntik na kong atakihin sa gulat dahil sayo!"

She smiled. "Nagugulat na talaga kita ngayon! Wow! So, ganyan pala ang nagagawa ng love sayo?" she said whilst shaking her head.

"Kanina ka pa ba dyan?" i asked.

Umiling siya at pinakita niya ang librong hawak niya. "Dumaan lang ako sa side na to when i saw you" she raised her eyebrows. "So? Hindi mo talaga susundan?" tanong niya ulit.

I shook my head. "No" then i smiled at her. "Mauna na ko. I've found what im looking for" i said and left.
