Before anything else, i want to clarify some things. First, i am a realist, i want my story to be realistic, yung may makakarelate, yung tipong sasabihin ng reader "ay, nangyari na sa kin yan!". Second, this story was catergorized as teenfiction not romance, so meaning, the flow wasn't all about love. Im taking the characters time to grow their feelings. And if you already reached this chapter, kilala mo na si Mikki. Im taking her time, hindi ako nagmamadali, hindi ako excited na mainlove yung characters ko sa isa't isa. Falling in love has its own stages. Kung romance siguro to, baka first chap palang ginawa ko nang mag-on yung bida. xD. Yun lang. I already said it on the very start na boring to. "Ivan!" sigaw ni Lea.

I didn't stopped, i stepped inside my car and started the engine, but i immediately stopped when Lea blocked my way.

"Sh*t!" i hissed. " What the heck Lea! I almost hit you!" i exclaimed.

She placed her hands on her hips and glared at me. "Bakit ka umalis?"

I stared at her in disbelief then i averted my gaze and bit my lip.

"Come on! Let's go back!" hinila niya ang kamay ko papasok sa bahay.

Tumigil ako dahilan kaya napahinto din siya at nagtatakang tinitigan ako. "Bakit?" tanong niya.

"Im not invited here" sabi ko.

She raised her eyebrows. "I texted you" sabi niya.

Kinuha ko agad ang cellphone ko sa bulsa ko at binasa ang text. Tss. Im stupid.

"Come on!" hila ulit ni Lea.

"Teka" i stopped her. "Bakit nandito si Mr. Sy?" tanong ko.

"I didn't invite him kung yan ang iniisip mo. He just showed up at the gate and said he needed to talk to Mikki"

"Ano namang pinag-uusapan nila?" i frowned.

Lea averted her gaze and shrugged. "I don't know. Just so you know, Miks was the one who invited him over here"

Just hearing that makes my heart ached. Ofcourse i was hurt and jealous. But what can i do if that's what she want?

"Look" Lea said "I really like you for her, don't give up. Okay?"

I sighed and nodded. We headed inside the house. Everyone's in there and i saw Mikki at the corner still talking with Mr. Sy.

My lips pursed into a thin line as I've approached my friends and sat on the couch next to Lea. Hindi pa nag-iinit ang upuan ko nang biglang tumayo si Mikki at Mr. Sy.

"Aalis ka na Dave?" tanong ni Lea na tumayo na rin para ihatid si Mr. Sy.

"Yep, and Miks' coming with me" he grinned.

My forehead creased and i balled my palm into fist. Bakit kasama si Mikki?

Lea glance down at me and then to Mikki. "I won't be long" she shuddered.

I closed my eyes and calmed myself when they were out of my sight. I could feel the stares of my friends but it's the least of my care now. I admit im threatened. He's a competition. And what can i do to win her? I can't even make her choose me over him.

Im kind of tipsy. Nagkayayaan kasi dahil wala ang parents ni Lea, bukas pa daw uuwi.

"Alam mo, there are two types of people in your life. The one you want to push away and the one you want to kiss" sabi ni Lea na medyo lasing na din. "Kaya ikaw Ivan, if you don't want Mikki to push you away, do something that makes her want to kiss you" sabi niya saka tinungga ang laman ng beer bottle.
