MISS NOT PERFECT

CHAPTER 28

"Si Ivan yun a?" Lea pointed the two but they're not hugging anymore.

"Ella" Lea whispered.

I shook my head and stood up.

The fluffy puppy barked so he caught the people's attentions. Mr. President and Ella saw us and went over to our direction.

"Hi Lea.. Hi Mikki" Ella greeted.

Lea totally ignored her. I continued walking.

"I'm sorry" I heard her say.

I just ignored it. Why she's saying sorry?

"Mikki wait!" then she ran to me and grabbed my arm.

I stopped and frowned.

"About the video, I'm so sorry" she said.

I tilted my head and frowned.

"Did you plan it?" I asked.

Her eyes grew wider as she gasped. "No! Of coarse not!" she whimpered.

"Then what's that sorry for?"

"Kasi.. Ang sama na ng tingin nila sayo"

I sighed.

"Like I care about them" I said and I think it made her shocked.

"Pero, you don't want that, right?"

I didn't answer, I just shrugged instead and turned my back on her.

The fluffy puppy barked again and this time, he's jumping in front of me. It's cute but I passed him by. I don't like animals.

I came back home.

"Where have you been?" Kerr asked.

"Park"

"Sinong kasama mo?"

"Kami, bakit?" Lea came.

"With a puppy?"

"Yeah, and with them too"

I frowned when I saw Mr. President and Ella entering the house.

"What are they doing here?" Kerr asked.

"Visiting her" Ella replied and pointed me.

Kerr held my hand instead. "What do you want from her?" he asked.

"Kerr, stop it" Lea said irritably.

"Tss"

I shook my head and dragged Kerr to sat down on the sofa.

"Have a seat guys" Lea invited the two.

"What now?" Kerr asked.

"I'm here to say my apology" Ella said.

I sighed "You don't need to. You can go" then I stood up and went to my room.

She's annoying. I already told her it's not her fault, why keep on apologizing? Tss.

Monday.

They still talking about me. As if I care. I passed them by. I just focused myself on my studies.

Lunch.

Lea, Greg and Maycy fetch me on my classroom. The group's still ate with us.

"Where's Ivan?" The guy who kissed my knuckle asked.

"Ewan. Baka kasama ni Ella. Alam mo na, hindi na mapaghiwalay ang dalawang yun" the other guy said.

"Sila na ba?" the girl with a blue ribbon asked.

They all shrugged.

I shook my head and didn't bother to listen again to what they're talking about. We've finished eating.  As we walk to the exit, we saw Ella. She's standing in front of group of students.

"Si Ella ba yun?"

"What is she doing?"

I didn't stop and continued walking. I don't do watching school riots. But I heard my name was called out loudly so I stopped.

I saw Mr. President.

"You really don't care?" he asked.
I frowned and turned my back.

Nonsense.

I was about to take my first step when I heard Ella on the megaphone.

"It isn't true" I heard it clearly even when I tried to ignore, I just can't.

"The video was just the last part and all of you doesn't know the real story yet you judged Mikki easily"

I sighed.

I don't like it. I don't like cleaning things like this when it's already messed up. What for? What's done is done.

"I called her, and asked a favor because I was sicked that time. Pinakiusapan ko siyang siya na lang 'ulit' ang maging Juliet since sa kanya naman talaga yung role. Yung totoo? Ako talaga yung nanulot ng Juliet role. And you see? Nakarma ako sa mismong date ng role play. It's funny to think that all of you says bad things about her," she stopped for a while.

Mr. President held my hand but I flinched.

"Some of you may know she doesn't care, many doesn't have any idea. All these rumors about her isn't true. I know her because I've been stalking her for a long time.. Until now, I'm still stalking her.."

It was a shocked.

I didn't know she would come this far.

"And most important, she didn't know I collapsed. Because when the time she turned her back to anyone, she wouldn't looked back. Never" she said in finality.

I took my first step. I saw Kerr smirking at the corner. Maybe he has a contribution on this. I sighed.

I didn't liked it.

I went to my classroom and my classmates literally stopped from what they're doing and one by one went near me to say their apology.

I ignored them.

Saying sorry won't fix the damage.

I sat on my chair and inserted my headset on my ears. I leaned on my armchair and closed my eyes. Ignoring the world.

But suddenly, someone interrupted and pulled out the earphone in my left ear, "Nandito na si Sir," Mr. President said.

I sat straight and look in front to see the professor coming. I removed my earphone.

After the classes were finished. I went out of my classroom and there were too many students out there. I ignored them and continued walking fast. I stopped when someone grabbed my arm and made me turned around. It's Mr. President again.

What will he do this time?

I frowned and tried to pull my arm away from him. He let it go, but only just to move his hand on my hand and pulled me closer to him.

And without any words, he stole my first kiss.
