Astonished.

I stared at her without knowing what to reply. Im speechless. I opened my mouth but no words came out so i had to close it again.

She frowned. "That" she said and her eyes turned into tiny slit. "You stared a lot"

My forehead creased but it slowly faded when the words sunk in. I smiled. "Ah.." i muttered.

Her frowned deepened, so, i bit my lip to prevent my smile but to no avail. She shook her head.

"You're turn" she said.

I took a deep breath. Now it's my turn? Again, what bothers me?

She stared at me as she waited my answer. I bit my bottom lip and stared back at those pair of brown orbs. I opened my mouth to finally speak but Mr Ramos interrupted and told us that we're having a quiz.

I groaned.

I was ready to tell her my feelings. Im going to confess but then. Ugh! Wrong timing. Ito na yung chance e. Tss. Now i don't know when will i have the guts again.

I keep on tapping my pen on the armchair and consistently looking at her from time to time.

I bit my bottom lip and looked at her through the corner of my eyes. She's too focus on the board and didn't event stole a glance at any direction. I sighed and looked straight ahead.

Tapos na ang klase, uwian na. Sinundan ko ng tingin si Mikki hanggang sa makalabas siya ng classroom, saka ako tumayo at sununod sa kanya. Luckily, wala si Kerr. Binilisan ko ang lakad ko para maabutan siya pero napahinto ako ng makita ko si Mr. Sy na nakasandal sa kotse niya. Ngumiti ito pagkakita kay Mikki at mabilis na pumasok sa kotse niya. Mikki walked towards the car and hopped in.

I was rooted on the spot. No. Hindi pwede. Bakit siya sumakay sa kotse ni Mr. Sy?!

I jumped a little when someone grabbed my arm and dragged me towards my car. "Sakay"sabi ni Lea.

Tinitigan ko siya ng nagtataka.

"Susundan natin sila, just hurry up!" Tinulak na niya ko papasok sa driver's seat at mabilis siyang umikot at sumakay sa passenger's. "What are you waiting for?"

I heaved a sigh and started the engine kahit wala akong maintindihan sa inaasta niya.

"Saan tayo pupunta?" tanong ko habang papalabas kami ng gate ng school.

"Sa mall"

"Anong gagawin natin sa mall?" nagtatakang tanong ko.

She looked at me like are-you-serious-you're-asking-me-that kind of way. Then shook her head. "Susundan sila Mikki at Dave"

And that made me stepped at the brake. "What?!"

"Careful!" she exclaimed. "May date sila! This is Mikki's first date, i won't miss it" she then grinned.

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Akala ko ba sakin ka boto? Why
did you let him date Mikki?" jealousy's striking me hard.

First date?! No way! It should be me!

Lalong lumawak ang ngiti niya. "Ikaw naman talaga ang gusto ko for her but what can i do if that's what Mikki wants?" she shrugged.

I groaned in frustrated. Nasapo ko na lang ang noo ko at napapikit.
