CHAPTER 14

"You're so harsh Kerr!" Lea shouted after he started the engine and start driving.

"Tch. Who the hell is she? She's annoying!" Kerr asked.

"Student Council President" I answered.

"What's her name?" tanong naman ni Lea.

"I dunno"

"Oh Em! Miks! Why didn't you know her name?"

"I don't know"

Lea didn't talk again and just released a long sigh.

We headed our way home but in just fifteen minutes interval time, the doorbell rang and Lea opened the door. Me and Kerr waited for whoever the visitor is when Lea showed up and followed by my sister.

I dont have any hate feelings towards her, actually I'm happy having a sibling. She's two years older than me. I dont know the details yet. And I'm not in a hurry to know. There's a lot of time for that.

"Sis!" She hugged me.

We stayed on the living room. Getting to know each other.

"So, lilipat ka na ba dito?" tanong ni Lea.

She shook her head.

"Wala naman nakatira sa bahay saka gusto ko din yung pagiging independent. Hope you'll understand" she said.

I just shrugged.

Hindi naman siya nagtagal at nagpaalam na. Hinatid namin siya ni Lea hanggang sa garage.

"Maycy.." I called.

Lumingon siya at nakangiting tumingin sakin.

"Ignore them" I said.

"They won't stop" she said.

I shook my head.

"I can handle it dont worry sis. Alam kong ayaw mong malaman nila na magkapatid tayo so don't worry, hindi ako magsasalita" hindi na niya hinintay yung sagot ko at pumasok na sa kotse niya.

She opened her window and waved her hand and drove. I shook my head. Who says I dont want anyone else to know? Umakyat na ko sa room ko.

Kinabukasan.

Nothing's new as if having a commotion at the hallway is a ritual in this school. Ofcourse, my sister's involve.

Lea and Kerr stopped so am I.

"I don't understand this"

I frowned and looked at Lea shaking her head.

"Can't we do something?'" Kerr asked me.

I shrugged.

I don't know what to do neither do I understand what's happening. What's the big deal of being adopted? It's as if it's her choice to be adopted though? I looked at Maycy and I saw her looking at me and shaking her head as if saying that we have to get out of this place.

I shrugged and passed them by.

"Miks.." Lea called. "Hindi mo ba siya tutulungan?"

"How?" I said.

"Dunno. But I think--"

"She can handle it." I said.

I heard her sighed.

"Hi Kerr!" out of the blue, an annoying voice shouted Kerr's name.

"Tch!" I glanced at Kerr and he's annoyed too.

"Kerr! Wait!"

We stopped when SC President blocked our way.

"Kerr, would you mind--"
