CHAPTER 74

I saw nothing.

Nothing but her.

Only her. Just her.

Everything around us cease to be visible in my eyes. My eyes were locked with hers as she stood in front of me with a huge smile plastered on her pretty face. Parang sasabog ang puso ko sa nakikita ko. My eyes were blurry but i can still see her clearly. Her smile that makes my heart melted into puddle.

Darn. I love her. I really really love her.

Then, slowly her head nodded as she says the word that made my tears streamed down my cheeks.

"W-what?" My voice's cracked.

"Yes" she repeated.

Oh God!

Napapikit ako ng mariin at pagdilat ko, agad na nagtama ang mga mata namin. Wala na akong sinayang na minuto at hinila ko na siya at niyakap ng mahigpit.

I have overflowing emotions that im feeling right now.

I bit my lip to suppress my sobs but to no avail. Im too emotional to hide it.

"Are you crying again?" she asked.

I shook my head and tightened my hugged even more. I don't want to let her go.

"Lance.."

"Hhmm?" nakapikit lang ako at dinadama ang bawat sandali.

Hinintay ko ang sasabihin niya pero wala akong narinig. Naramdaman ko na lang ang paglayo niya kaya wala akong nagawa kung hindi bumitaw sa yakap. She stared at me and her eyebrows slowly pulled together.

"Why are you crying?" she asked innocently.

I shook my head and looked down. I wiped my tears and took a deep breath. Then, i looked at her again, she's still staring at me. I bit my bottom lip as my heart's hummering in joy.

Hindi ko alam kung anong sasabihin ko at gagawin ko. Sinagot na niya ko! Mikki is now officially my girlfriend, finally! Yes! Ang puso ko hindi na magkandaugaga kung anong unang dapat gawin, kung titigil ba sa pagtibok o bibilisan ang pagtibok. Pati yung puso ko nababaliw na yata.

"Lance" i went back on my trance when i heard her voice.

I stepped forward and stared at her. Gusto ko siyang hawakan, gusto ko siyang yakapin, gusto ko siyang halikan pero baka magalit siya. This is a very special moment to be ruined, kaya nakuntento na lang ako sa pagtitig at pagngiti sa kanya.

I took a sharp intake of breath and asked "Tayo na ba?" I want her assurance.

She tilted her head then shrugged.

My brows furrowed in confusion. "Tayo na nga?" ulit ko.

Bigla siyang tumalikod at nagsimula ng maglakad. I, on the other hand was shocked kaya hindi agad ako nakakilos. Pero tumigil siya sa paglalakad at humarap ulit at humakbang palapit sakin.

She stopped in front of me and stared at me. Dahil matangkad ako sa kanya, nakatingala siya sakin at nakayuko naman ako sa kanya. We stayed that way for a few seconds as we held each other's gazes until her arms snaked around my neck and forcedly pulled me downwards hanggang sa naramdaman ko na lang ang pagdampi ng labi niya sa labi ko.

My eyes widened in shock.

Im speechless. Biglang nagshutdown ang paligid ko at ang utak ko, pati na rin lahat ng sense sa katawan ko. I think i even forgot to breathe the moment our lips met. Hanggang sa lumayo siya sakin, hindi pa rin ako agad nakagalaw sa pwesto ko.
