"So, see ya later, Miks," Lea kissed me on my cheek when we finally found my classroom.

Unfortunately, we don't have the same classes together.

As I entered the classroom, I saw only few students, since it's too early. Silently, I sat next to the window and opened a book and read for I'm not fond of watching people. It was quite hard though, because despite a few students inside, they are still ‘too’ noisy that distracts me.

"Ivan! My Gosh! We're really blockmates! I'm so happy!" someone then screamed.

I sighed and glanced at them only to see a mini commotion in front. My brows slightly furrowed at that, then, I returned my attention back to my book, because its story is more interesting than whatever they are into.

“Good morning, Mikki Gale Torres”

I heard my name. Of course, I took a glance on the seat next to me where the voice came from and saw it was thehe guy who was being hugged awhile ago. He said it loud, enough to caught everyone's attentions inside the room. Then, suddenly, the guy laughed and I scowled at him and to everyone who are looking at me.

Bigla silang naglapitan sa akin as if they just saw me now.

“Mikki? Mikki Torres? As in yung classmate namin nung pre school hanggang elementary? Is that really you?"

"Gosh, Mikki. Hindi kita nakilala!"

"Do you remember us?"

I looked at them blankly and frowned.

No. I don't.

"I bet not," the girl with a pink ribbon ponytail said.

"Camille!" they said in unison.

"I'm pretty sure hindi niya tayo natatandaan. She didn't talk to us even once before. Remember?" She continued as she sauntered towards my seat.

"Sabagay. Tell me, what is my name?" asked another girl.

"Girls, stop it. Mikki doesn't talk to anyone. Magsasayang lang kayo ng laway kung kakausapin niyo siya. Hindi din naman siya sasagot," the guy sitting next to me interfered.

Everyone went quiet then. Finally. I was about to go back on reading when the girl with pink ribbon smirked at me. "So, she didn't changed huh? Interesting.."

What's interesting about it? Such weirdo.

"Curious lang ako, Ivan. Di ba ikaw yung laging nakabuntot at nangungulit lagi dati kay Mikki? Tell me, did she ever talked to you even once?" tanong ng isa.

Fortunately, the professor entered and everyone dispersed and went to their seats.

I sighed in relief.

Seriously, don't they have a life to mind?

I closed the book. I propped my elbow on the desk and rested my chin on my palm as I look straight in front to listen to our professor's introduction. Boring. Books are more interesting.

“Okay. Introduce yourself,” she said and I sighed.

I don't like talking at all. And I'm starting to hate the phrase ‘I have no choice’. Tsk.

I'm not nervous though. I don't really like speaking in front of ‘strangers’. That's all.

“Good morning everyone. I'm Ivan Lance Meneses, 18 years old, 5'9". I love healthy foods, and I love making friends. So, anyone who wants to be my friend is welcome,” the guy who sits next to me winked.

Flirt. Here I thought the likes only exist in America. I shook my head.

"Ivan, nagkagirlfriend ka na ba?" the girl in front asked.
