I returned back to the cortex that night hearing Barry's voice.
"But I can't do it without you." Barry said
"Well I guess we need to get started." I replied walking toward my area
"Dellie." Cisco said smiling
"Cisco." I smiled back
I placed my bag on the chair in front of the computer when I felt a body behind me.
"Lini. what-" Barry began
"Leave it Barry, we have work to do." I said walking past him
His hand flew out and grabbed my elbow pulling me back.
"Hey, are you good?" he asked
"Leave it Barry." I said looking into his eyes
I was hoping he could understand that I was pleading for him to let it go for now.
"Please." I whispered,
"We are talking later." He said
"Of course, we will Allen." I said with a smirk
"Hey if we are doing this, I have something that might help." Cisco announced
We all walked to Cisco's area seeing Cisco turn a deep burgundy color suit around to face us.
"Something I've been working on." Cisco said proudly
"Sick." I whispered
"Designed to replace the turnouts firefighters traditionally wear. I thought if S.T.A.R. Labs could do something nice for the community maybe people wouldn't be so angry at Dr. Wells anymore." Cisco said
"How is it going to help me?" Barry asked
"It's made of a reinforced tripolymer, it's heat and abrasive resistant, so it should withstand your moving at high-velocity speeds and the aerodynamic design should help you maintain control. Plus it has built in sensors so we can track your vitals and stay in contact with you from here." Cisco explained
"Thanks. Now how do we find Mardon?" Barry replied
"I retasked S.T.A.R Labs satellite to track meteorological abnormalities over Central City. We just got a ping, Atmospheric pressure dropped twenty millibars in the matter of seconds. I've tracked it to a farm just west of the city." Caitlin explained
I walked up next to Barry staring at the suit.
"Go save the day." I whispered
"Thank you." He whispered
A gust of wind and naked mannequin indicated that Barry was on his way toward the farm. The three of us walked over to the consoles placing his vitals and location on the screen.
"Can you guys hear me?" Barry called out
"Loud and clear Bar." I replied taking a seat at the middle computer
