The next day, Barry and I met with Cisco, Eddie and Joe. We were standing in the bunker, staring at the hologram glaring at us with its beady red eyes. "So Wells set up a fake showdown with a fake opponent who was never really there?" Eddie asked "He figured if we saw both of them together it would prove he wasn't The Man In Yellow." Barry explained "This all keeps getting crazier and crazier." Eddie said Cisco died down the machine as the elevator opened revealing Caitlin.
"I just talked with Dr. Wells. He's attending a lecture downtown, won't be back until five." Caitlin said
"All right, Cisco, Lini you know when he gets here, you need to be working on the trap. So he sees the two of you setting off the hologram." Barry said "You think he's going to whisk me out of the room?" I asked
"Most likely, so be careful and don't shadow into the room instantly. He'll know then." Barry said "Hold on, isn't that in your dream... when everything went..." Joe asked
"Kali Ma, Temple of Doom. Yeah, that definitely happened." Cisco said "Yes, but we will be ready for him." I said
"I originally designed the force field to keep a speedster from getting out but I've reversed it. Now it won't let one in." Cisco said
He stood on the platform, pressing a button. The containment system came to life, creating a force field around him. Cisco lifted his finger, egging Barry on. Barry looked at the rest of us, placing his hand on the small of my back moving me out of the way. "Back up." He said
We all took several steps back, giving him lots of room as he took off toward the force field, bouncing off of it smacking into the cart beside Eddie. "Oh my god, Barry!" I yelled "Barry, are you okay?" Caitlin asked
"Ah... it works." He huffed as Joe helps him to his feet
I smiled, giving a small round of applause that we did it.
"Okay, as long as I'm inside, Wells won't be able to get near me." Cisco said "And I will be in the Cortex watching and recording everything that happens." Caitlin said "And as soon as we get the confession we need to free my dad, I'm moving in." Barry said
"So what do I do?" Eddie asked "Wells also threatened Iris, so if something goes wrong here, we need you to keep an eye on her until Wells is neutralized." Joe said "I'll always keep Iris safe, Joe." Eddie said walking off
I looked at Joe as he watched Eddie leave, spotting my stares. "What?" Joe asked
"Come on." I said grabbing his arm The two of us walked away, just us. "So Eddie told me what happened, that you kiboshed his proposal." I said "That was supposed to be between me and him." Joe said "And I agree with that, but now he's involved me. I know we have a lot going on right now and normally I wouldn't get involved but I just don't get it, Joe. Why did you say no? Eddie is a good guy, he's got a really good head on his shoulders." I asked
