Caitlin and I walk into the Cortex, burger in hand.
"The police got a ping from the trace hidden in the stolen cash. The SWAT team is closing in on the 1600 block of pass." Cisco called out
"Now stop ruining Iris' love life and go." Caitlin said
Caitlin turned off the mic, I was trying to eat my burger and fries standing up when I looked up seeing both her and Cisco were staring.
"He knows already, doesn't he?" I said
"I had suspicions but you just confirmed it. Operation Get Barry and Adaline together is a go!" Cisco yelled
"What are we in? High school?" I asked
After about an hour we were standing in the examination room off the Cortex when a whoosh of air sent my medical files flying.
"Come on." I said
I heard the word fire and screaming, I turned seeing Felicity standing there in her bra looking very flustered. She saw us standing there and grabbed her purse from Barry, embarrassed.
"I'm glad I decided to not go bra-less." Felicity said
"You guys remember Felicity?" Barry asked
"I'll always remember this." Cisco said
I slapped the back of his head walking forward with a S.T.A.R. Labs sweatshirt.
"Don't be creepy. Hello Felicity." I smiled handing her the sweater
"Hi Felicity, it's so good to see you. What brings you to Central City? Not Barry?" Caitlin asks
"No, not Barry. This is not happening, we looked down that road and we said "no thank you." Felicity said "They get it." Barry said a little hurt
"Actually I'm here because of this." Felicity said pulling out a boomerang
"Holy shit." I said "Awesome! What are the wings made of?" Cisco proclaimed
"Not sure -- I'm thinking it's some sort of composite or high-density plastic." Felicity said
"Reinforced with carbon fiber. Oh that's weird, it almost feels like it-" Cisco added
"Vibrating." Felicity said
"Yeah."
"Yeah."
"Oh I want to run some tests and I want to run 'em right now." Cisco said walking away with Felicity
"Hey you guys, come up with anything new on our meta?" Barry asked
"The officer that was affected tonight said he saw a flash of red before he lost control." I said
"I suspect the meta is inducing rage via the ocular nerve. Oh and Dr. Wells wants to see you." Caitlin said
"Joe is in there too. Good luck." I said I felt a hand grab my elbow pulling me back, I looked to see Barry.
"Are we- we good?" He asked
My heart felt a little heavy with every word he asked. "Yeah, we're good." I said giving a tight lipped smile
I walked off toward the examination room to put my files back together. After a couple of minutes, I heard Caitlin screaming. I jumped up seeing the boomerang coming right toward me.
"Oh shit." I said stepping back tripping
The thing came down toward me as I quickly jumped up running from it. I felt arms wrap around my waist pulling me down covering my head till I heard carbon fiber embedded into the wall. I looked up seeing through my hair, Cisco walking out of the workshop, a guilty look across his face.
"That's my bad, that's on me." Cisco said placing his hand up
I looked to Joe who still held his gun out, as I was helped from the floor. I looked up seeing Barry's arm still around my waist as his other hand was helping me steadying. "Are you okay?" he asked
I nodded, hearing something hit the floor. I jumped letting out a small yelp.
"I want that "Arrow" out of my city. Tonight." Joe said
Joe walked off, before I turned to him.
"Oliver is here?" I asked
"Yes...- wait, how do you know?" Barry stopped and raced us to a different room
"How did you find out?" He asked
"Oliver Queen went missing for 5 years and then he shows up and so does the Arrow? Like he wears green, it's so obvious." I explained
"No, you are just a genius." Barry said
"I don't think it helps that my brother is best friends with Roy Harper." I said
"Roy Harper?" He asked
"Yeah." I said nonchalantly

The next morning I walked into Jitters seeing Felicity, Barry and Oliver Queen, Felicity spotted me first waving me over.
"Hello." I said
"Adaline, hey, this is Oliver." Felicity said
"Hello, Oliver Queen." He said placing his hand out
"Adaline Garcia." I smiled
"Adaline as in your ex Adaline?" Oliver asked
"Yes, this is her." Felicity said
Oliver looked at me then to Barry. "What is wrong with you?" He asked
I tried to cover my smile as Felicity laughed for me. "Can you not embarrass me right now?" Barry asked
"But going back to what we were talking about. I'm not, it's just a name." Oliver said
Iris came over dropping off their coffees before turning to me.
"Do you want me to grab your tea to-go?" Iris asked "Yeah, sure." I said
Barry walked off with Iris as I stayed with Felicity and Oliver. "So how's the masked-hooded life?" I whispered
"I don't know what you are talking about?" Oliver said taking a sip of his coffee
"It's okay, your secret is safe with me." I said winking
"Adaline, your tea is ready!" Michael yelled
"I gotta go, still running some tests and also gotta stop by the hospital." I said
"It was lovely meeting you Adaline." Oliver said
"Until next time." I smiled
I grabbed my cup before walking toward the doors, looking back at Barry, winking.
