            The next morning, I went to drop off the files before meeting back up at Barry's Lab. I walked in holding a to-go cup from Jitters, seeing Joe sitting in the rolling chair.

"Beauty." Joe said
"Morning Joe." I smiled

Barry walked to his board pulling it down, covering in all different things about Wells.

"All right, this is everything that we know about Harrison Wells, which is actually not a lot." Barry said
"Didn't you read a whole book about him?" Joe asked

"Yeah, a whole 600 pages." I said
"Don't you work for him?" Joe said looking to me

I looked at Joe, mouth open, eyes wide.

"Joseph." I said

"Am I wrong?" He asked

I rolled my eyes.

"Guys." Barry said
"Proceed." I said

"As you were saying, yes, 600 pages and the big takeaway is, he's enigmatic." Barry said
He stood staring at the board.

"Your mom was killed by a speedster. Well's machine turned you into a speedster. That's way too many coincidences for this old cop." Joe said

"Okay, why kill my parents then? Where do I fit?" I asked getting up and started pacing

"Did he know about your powers?" Joe asked

I stopped, thinking back to when we found out about my powers. Wells didn't seem surprised at all.

"He might have, because when we ran all the tests and found out what i could do, he didn't seem surprised but excited." I said

"Do you think he wanted me to become the Flash and for Adaline to get her powers?" Barry asked

"Everything he's done since the night the particle accelerator gave you your powers and caused the lightning that hit you, bringing you to S.T.A.R. Labs, giving you the suit, training you, and you working there, getting you to keep the cuffs on, getting you to calm your powers, it has all been to protect you two." Joe said

"And to make Barry faster." I said

"Wells once said that he needed more speed from me. Why?" Barry said

"I don't know, but he wanted something from you Barry. We just need to figure out what it is." Joe said standing

'Well let's go get him, let's get some answers." Barry said

"We can't do that now as much as we want to." Joe said

"Joe, you had your suspicions about Wells from the very beginning. You thought he might be the man in yellow." Barry said
"Except the blood from your old house didn't match him." I said

"Alright, so maybe he's not the Reverse-Flash, but you think that he knows what happened that night. He might have the key to getting my dad out of prison." Barry said

"He might know how my parents died." I said

"Whatever Wells wants from you two, it started 15 years ago. He's been patient, scary patient. You two gotta listen to me on this. We have to be just as patient." Joe said

"Yeah." Barry said

Joe pulled the map over covering up all of Wells' research. I stared at the floor, thinking about what Wells could know.

"Beauty?" Joe asked

I looked up to him.

"Just as patient." He said
"Just as patient." I said slowly
