Weeks later, the trio was sitting in the side room of the cortex, waiting for Barry when Dr. Wells wheeled in.
"Where's Barry?" he asked
"He's late." Cisco said
"Late is kind of Barry's signature move." Caitlin said
"Hey, you guys want to see my signature move?" Cisco asked
"If it was anything like the time at Belly Burger three years ago, I'll pass." Adaline joked
"That's not my signature move, just a move." Cisco explained
A whooshing sound later and Barry was leaning against the wall near Adaline,.
"Sorry guys, I got held up. You had to be there" He said with a smirk
Adaline rolled her eyes before looking back at the tablet.
"I'm going to need a moment or two alone with Barry." Wells said
Caitlin basically ran out of the room as Cisco jumped off the tablet, placing the tablet down.
"Oh, you're in trouble." Cisco said walking out
"Just say you didn't do it." Adaline joked following Cisco out
Adaline walked out of the cortex leading toward one of the empty rooms going to sit and get all of her emails out of the way when she received a call from the hospital saying they needed help with a pick-up at a crime scene, a homicide. Adaline jumped up packing her things, letting Caitlin and Cisco know before racing home to put on scrubs before racing to the hospital. After arriving she and the coroner immediately hopped into an ambulance and drove to the scene. Adaline arrived at the scene with gloves on and her hair pulled back.
"Well the first thing we need to do is I.D him." Joe said
"His face melted off, how is that picture going to help him?" Eddie asked
