Cisco drove us to a familiar street. We pulled up seeing Joe standing by the police car, my heart stopped.
"Hey." Joe said
"Hey man." Cisco said
"Thanks for meeting me and bringing Beauty. Hey beauty." Joe said
I waved, staring at the house.
"Sure, what exactly are we doing here?" Cisco asked
"That's Barry's old house." I said followly slowly behind
"Where his mother murdered?" Cisco asked
"I have a theory who might be involved in Barry's mother's death." Joe said
"Joe." I said
"Adaline, I just have to be sure." He said
"I thought the three of us could reexamine the crime scene, you two could apply your technical expertise and help me prove who really did it." Joe explained
"For sure, we should get Dr. Wells and Caitlin in on it." Cisco said
"No, we should keep this between the three of us for the time being. Too many people will know and then Barry will find out and I don't want to involve him until we know something definitive." Joe said knocking on the door
"But you involved one of the most important people in his life?" Cisco asked
I looked at him, confused.
"Oh don't look at me like that, you know." He said
The door opened revealing an older blonde lady wearing a robe with her sleeping gown underneath. I bit my lip hiding the boy's reactions.
"Hello madam, I'm Detective West and this is Cisco Ramon and Adaline Garcia." Joe said showing his badge
"Oh please, it's Sherry, like the drink. What can I do for you, detective?" She asked
"I don't know if you were aware, but there was a homicide in this residence approximately 15 years ago." Joe explained
"Oh I know." Sherry said
"We reopened the investigation. Do mind if we come in and take another look around?" Joe asked
"Oh not at all." Sherry replied
She turned to allow us to walk in staring at Joe.
"Do you live alone?" Joe asked
"Yes, I'm divorced." Sherry replied
Cisco and I walked away, looking at one another.
"Is she-" I asked
"Don't." Cisco said
We started getting everything set up and Cisco began walking around with the super light.
"I'm not picking up anything, even with the super light." Cisco said
"Super light?" Joe asked
"Well technically it's a muli-spectrum, ultraviolet laser enhanced scanner that detects molecular schisms in the 600 mega-volts range." I said
"But I figured "Super Light" was easier to say." Cisco said
"Right, but what does it tell you?" Joe asked
"Nothing we didn't already know about that night." Cisco said
"Okay, keep looking." Joe said looking over pictures
"Remember I have a date with Barry tonight." I said follow Cisco
"Um, could I get you guys anything to drink? Water? Soda? Wine?" Sherry asked
