After several hours in the ER, I received a text from Cisco asking to get back to S.T.A.R. Labs. I told the supervisor before grabbing my things quickly arriving back seeing Cisco sitting in our work area.
"You rang?" I asked
He turned and looked at me.
"You were a criminal." Cisco said
"What?" I asked
"Barry told me, you were running with thieves." He said
"Oh Cisco, shut up. The kid I was in love ripped my heart out my chest, okay? I fell in with the wrong crowd, I met a guy, did a couple jobs with him and as you can see" I said pointing at my face
"It didn't end well, I got caught and they left me for dead. I went straight into the early graduation program after that, I turned my life around. I did online college classes and I went and got two degrees. I'm not that person anymore." i explained
I looked at him, seeing his eyes soften with sadness.
"Don't you look at me like that." I said
His eyes lit with realization.
"Cisco, don't." I said
"You were in love with Barry." He said
"Cisco, drop it." I spat
"Are you still?" He asked
I stopped, snapping my mouth shut. I took a deep breath.
"I will always love Barry, I just- I just don't see him with me in the end." I said
There was silence.
"Barry deserves someone like Iris. Overly amazing, a good person and someone new." I explained
"Don't do that, you are all of those things, minus the new." Cisco said
"Cisco, He doesn't need my baggage, he deserves light. I just bring the dark." I said
I felt myself growing sad, a cabinet went flying as he stared at me as I stared at my hands, a sad smile grew on his face.
"Just leave it please." I said
"I'll drop it for right now." Cisco said patting my shoulder
The two sat there working on the cuffs for me. I felt myself getting frustrated, i huffed feeling Cisco's hand on my shoulder. I turned to see some things floating.
"I am a lost cause, might as well throw me into the pipeline." I said getting up
"Dellie, we'll figure this out." he said following me
We walked over to Caitlin who was typing away.
"I'm hopeless." I called out
"You and Cisco will figure this out." Caitlin reassured
"And this is where my team monitors the police bands for criminal activity. We can track anything that's happening in the city. Check this out." Barry said walking in
The two of us turned to see Barry with Felicity Smoak, I looked around seeing some items still floating covered in my greenish hue.
"Hey." I said in a high pitched voice giving a wave
The items all dropped with several bangs, I closed my eyes, trying to recompose myself.
"We've got our own satellite." Barry said
"I know, I've hacked into it from time to time." Felicity said
I smacked Cisco's shoulder lightly.
"I told you someone was hacking us." I said
