Later that night, We are going to be having a movie marathon, as I head to the basement ready for our movie night. Barry decided that he didn't want me to wear my cuff when it was just him and I anymore, so I don't. We sat on the couch and got comfortable. He had his arm around my neck as we held hands, I looked at our tangled hands feeling butterflies. I shook my head, getting rid of my daydreams looking at Barry, he was staring at the room at the far end of the basement, with anger.
"What's wrong?" I asked
"Huh?" He asked
"I asked what is wrong?" I asked once more
"Oh nothing." he said repositioning himself
"Barry." I said, looking at him,
"Talk to me." i said placing my hand on his cheek
"What is that room?" he asked
I stared at him.
"That room has never been there, so when, what is that room?" He asked
"How about I show you." I said getting up
I placed my hand out which he immediately grabbed, and we walked to the room. I opened the door and pulled him inside. It looked like a very normal room to the naked eye.
"It's a room." He said
"Not just a room." I said pressing a button on the outside
We stood there as he continued to look confused. I raised my hands and nothing came out. He gave me a worried look.
"Try to use your speed." I said calmly
Barry tried to go but he just stood still, confused and surprised.
"Wait? What?" He said
"Months ago, Cisco helped me build a dampening structure, a cell if you will and we built a normal room around it. I use this room when my powers are a little too much, hence the add on bathroom." I explained
"So this entire room?-" he asked
"And bathroom." I added
"Have a dampening structure around it." He said "Yes." I replied
"You are way before your time." He said
"Thank you?" I questioned
"So no powers right?" He asked
"Yes." I said slowly
I looked up to him leaning in swiftly, the kiss felt strong, emotional. I quickly placed my hands on the back of his neck keeping him close. He slowly walked us until my butt came in contact with the bed, he picked me up with ease placing me on the bed. He pulled away, staring at me. I smiled, rubbing my thumb over his cheek.
I woke up to the sky being dark, I rolled over seeing Barry facing me lying on his stomach. I chuckled, rubbing my hand over his back still lying on mine. He slowly opened his eyes, smiling at me.
