Italics = talking telepathically Joe awakes on the cold moist ground, the sound of running water trickled by him. He looked around, spotting the bloodied hard hat from one of the missing workers. He lends up, leaning back against the wall, his leg in pain. The sound of swift movement caused him to shift quickly. He groaned in pain as he reached for his gun pointing in the direction of the loud footsteps. There was a ringing sound in the air, his shaking hand began to turn, now facing the gun to himself.
"Wh-what are you doing to me?" He asked
Grodd came forward, stepping into the light.
"Help!" Joe cried out
"Cisco, help me!" Joe cried out
"No help here." Grodd said telepathically
He shook with fear as he looked to his left, noticing Adaline, lying still. "Beauty." he hisses
"Adaline sleep. Adaline, no threat." Grodd said
"I can hear you in my head, you are telepathic. Like Adaline." Joe said Grodd comes closer growling.
"Please." Joe pleaded
His thumb cocked the gun, as he squeezed his eyes closed.
"No, no, no!" Joe said The gun came closer and closer to his face before Grodd dropped his hand. Joe's hand throws the gun off to his far right away from both of them.
"Father hates gun. Adaline hates gun." Grodd said
"Father. Father, you mean-you mean Wells. Wells? Is that what you mean? Where is he?" Joe asked
"Not here." Grodd growled
He sniffed the air, annoyed. Joe huffs, reaching for his pocket.
"Wait, wait, wait. Here. Is this what you want? You can have it. It's yours." Joe said
He pulls a banana out of his pocket, Grodd lets out a giant roar scaring Joe. Adaline flies up, her eyes a vibrant green before she smacks the concrete, still unconscious. Grodd gets close to Joe, now standing face to face with him. Joe's eyes were screwed shut as he is terrified of the giant mammal.
"Grodd hate banana." Grodd said
"Please, please." Joe whimpered
Grodd stands tall before he descends back down the large sewer line away from the two humans. Joe whimpered as he laid there, not knowing what to do next. Grodd growls as Joe looks over to Adaline, her eyes closed, unaware of what was going on around her. Deep inside Adaline's brain, she stood in the middle of one of the rooms at S.T.A.R. Labs. She looked around noticing monitors and several lines hooked up to the small monkey. There were several scientists around him. She knew this memory all too well.
Back at S.T.A.R. Labs, Barry sat in the middle of the Cortex, his brain being scanned for activity. Cisco stood beside Caitlin as Iris stood back leaning against the window Mateo beside her. "You're experiencing a spike in activity in your primary motor cortex. It's the same thing we saw in Eiling. The images you saw were some kind of psychic attack by Grodd." Caitlin explained "First Eddie gets taken by The Man in Yellow, and now my dad--" Iris said "And Adaline as well. We're going to save all of them, Iris. I promise you." Barry said "Hold up. I put a tracker in the tranq dart you shot Grodd with, as soon as it activates--" Cisco said "No, Cisco. I can't wait for that. I will search every inch of that sewer if I have to." Barry said "And what happens if you find them? What happens if Grodd takes over your mind the same way he did with Eiling?" Caitlin asked "I don't- I mean-- Can you guys build me something? Some kind of tech so he can't get into my head?" Barry asked
