The next day, Barry had to go back to S.T.A.R. Labs later, he was pacing back and forth in the kitchen as Adaline made him a coffee.
"If you keep pacing like that, you are going to dig through the floor." Adaline said "How do you look at him? He may have killed your parents." Barry said
Adaline placed the coffee down walking to Barry, pulling his face down to look at her.
"I know, but we need to be patient. If we do this wrong, we could never get a confession, so you have to trust Joe." Adaline said
Barry nods, Adaline walks back grabbing his coffee and handing it to him. He smiled at her before leaning in to give her a gentle kiss.
"How did I get so lucky?" Barry asked
"I don't know actually." Adaline smiled
They laughed.
"Go, find your dad. Be a hero." Adaline said
"I couldn't do it without you." Barry said
"Yeah, you could." Adaline smiled
"Never." Barry smiled before walking out

Later that night, Iris and I walked into the event. We walked to the check-in table.
"Hi. I'm Iris West. I'm with Central City Picture News and my guest Adaline Garcia." Iris said showing her pass
They smiled and nodded. We returned the smile and walked in. I heard a waiter ask Iris for any champagne. I looked over seeing no one, I shook my head following Iris deeper into the venue. A younger waiter comes over to me, smiling.
"Champagne?" He asked
"None for me thank you." I said "I insist." He said
"I don't drink." I said calmly
"Certainly. My apologies." He said before walking away
