1.6 Why didn't you tell me?

Episode 2

                 Caitlin and I were walking into the Cortex when I heard Cisco's voice.

"Are you there yet?" He asked

"What are you doing?" Caitlin asked

He quickly shut the computers down, turning to look at us.

"Nothing" he said placing the sucker in his mouth

"Who are you talking to?" I asked

"No one." he said

"Are you talking to Barry?" Cait asked

"Who?" He asked

"Barry Allen?" I replied

"Stuck by lightning?" Cait added

"Was in a coma for nine months?" I said

"Woke up being able to run faster than the speed of sound?" Caitlin questioned

"Ring a bell?" I asked

"No. Haven't talked to him." Cisco said

"Cisco! There is fire everywhere. Cisco, are you still there?" Barry voice rang through the speaker

Caitlin and I looked at the speaker before looking back to Cisco who looked guilty. There was a couple of seconds of silence.

"Everyone's out, what else you got for me Cisco?" Barry asked

I looked at Caitlin, pointing my head towards the mic before walking toward my office.

"Barry, It's Caitlin." She said

"Hey Caitlin. How's your day?" Barry asked in a higher voice

"Get back to S.T.A.R Labs. Now. And good luck with Addie." Caitlin replied before walking toward her office

"On my way." Barry replied

Several seconds later, a gust of wind and papers flying around the room indicated that Barry had entered the Cortex. I placed my tea down leaning against the doorway letting Caitlin rip them a new one.

"Have you both lost your mind? Who do you think you are?" Caitlin asked walking out of her office

"Well I'm the eyes and ears and he's the feet." Cisco replied

"This isn't funny. You could have gotten yourself killed. You can't be running around the city like some supersonic fireman." Caitlin argued

"Why not? This is what we talked about: me using my speed to do good." Barry explained

"We talked about you helping us contain other people who might have been affected by the particle accelerator explosion. Meta-humans and aside from Clyde Mardon, we haven't found any." Caitlin replied

"People in this city still need help and I can help them." Barry said

"We can help them." Cisco replied

Caitlin turned to look at me before turning to Wells.

"Will one of you two please say something?" Caitlin asked

"You don't want me to say anything." I said annoyed

"I think what Caitlin is trying to say, in her own spectacularly angry way, is we are just beginning to understand what your body is capable of. Not to sound like a broken record, Mr. Allen. I do caution restrain." Wells explains

I walk toward the group taking a seat behind the desk.

"Dr. Wells, I doubt restraint is how you got to be the man you are today." Barry said
