Several hours later and a couple thousand signatures and emails, Adaline was walking to Jitters seeing trivia night was in full swing. A couple feet away sat Iris and Barry talking about him and Felicity. Iris' eye caught the ebony beauty, smiling, Barry noticing turned looking to see her standing there. The air got caught in his lungs, she was dressed in a pair of leggings, a hoodie, thick socks and a pair of slippers. She was wearing her glasses and her back was pulled out of her face by a clip. He quickly turned to look at Iris, who had a giddy smile.

"Or you can fall back into some familiarity that worked." Iris said

"I have no clue what you are talking about." Barry said

"For a genius, you don't act like one." Iris said

Adaline finally noticed the two waving before making her way over to the counter, ordering her tea. After a couple minutes, Felicity and Eddie both returned as Adaline had her tea and was leaving.

"Hey Adaline." Felicity called out

"Hey." She said walking over

"How are you doing?" Felicity asked

"Lots of paperwork, lots of signatures and even more emails, which I must be getting back to. I'm sorry, excuse me." Adaline said walking away

Iris and Barry looked at one another, turning to see Felicity and Eddie still looking at Adaline who was walking out the door. Adaline, after leaving, received a text from Cisco, telling her to get back to S.T.A.R. Labs right away. She drove straight to the building, speed-walking into the Cortex.

"What's wrong?" She asked

"I was doing some cleaning downstairs when I noticed something." Cisco said

He led Caitlin and I toward a storage unit that was deep downstairs, we entered the room seeing a single locker opened and emptied. We stared at it for a moment, hearing the sound of wheels squeaking on the polished concrete floor revealing Dr. Wells in the doorway.

"How long has it been missing?" Wells asked

"I don't know." Cisco replied not taking his eyes off the locker

"I'm going to ask you again, Cisco. But when I do, I expect a more specific answer than" I don't know." Now how long has the weapon been gone?" Wells asked in a more deeper tone

I looked at the man seeing a different energy in him, something more angry, something almost sinister. I shook my head, getting rid of the thoughts.

"One of the janitors didn't show up for work this morning, he was probably the one who took it. I didn't think that-" Cisco was interrupted by Wells slamming the locker shut

I flitched looking to see Cisco frozen staring straight ahead.

"You didn't think so, because if you had, you would have discussed with me first your desire to build something that could, in theory, hurt anyone, and in particular, Barry Allen." Dr. Wells yelled

"I'm sorry. If you just let me explain-" Cisco pleaded

"You know how I feel about weapons, Cisco. They do not belong in S.T.A.R. Labs. Now you are going to figure out a way to locate that gun, and you are going to do it right now." Wells said in the dark voice again before wheeling out of the room

"This thing you built, what can it do?" Caitlin asked

Cisco continued to stare at the now closed locker.

"Bad Stuff." He said

The three of us walked up to the cortex when I received a text from Joe saying they spotted Snart. I smiled to myself before taking a seat in front of my desktop, resuming the hospital work as Felicity showed up sometime later.
