After the bomb dropped on Barry, the three of us immediately went to S.T.A.R Labs to see Cisco and Dr. Wells.
"Time travel." Wells said
"If the last five months have proven anything, it's that anything can exist, but actually traveling through time?" Barry questioned
"Well the greatest minds in human history put their collective genius toward solving that puzzle." Wells said
"So is it possible?" Joe asked
"Yes it's possible, but problematic. Assuming you could create the conditions necessary to take that journey--well that journey would then be fraught with potential pitfalls. The Novikov principle of self-consistency for example." Wells explained
"Wait? The what now?" Joe asked
"If you travel back in time to change something, then you end up being the causal factor of that event." Barry said
"Like Terminator." Cisco said
"Ah." Joe said pointing to him
"Or is time plastic? Is it mutable whereby any changes of the continuum could create an alternate timeline." Wells said
"Back to the future." I said
"Oh, I saw that one too." Joe said
"Doc Brown, tremendous picture." Wells said
"Right, so what's the answer?" Joe asked
"I might be a clever guy, Joe, but if you're asking me to give you a working theory on how to travel through time, I'm just afraid I can't do that." Wells expressed
"There is someone else we could talk to about this." Cisco said
Barry looked at Cisco confused, I rolled my eyes.
"Professor Stein." I replied
"Oh right, shall we go?" Barry asked
"You want me to go?" I questioned
"Of course, I want you to go." He said
I smiled grabbing his hand
Barry scooped Adaline up and they were off to Stein's home, they stopped at the driveway, him placing her down. She fixed her skirt and hair, he reached out his hand then walked up to the door. Barry knocked, the door opened revealing Clarissa.
"Barry? Adaline?" She said
"Mrs. Stein, I'm sorry to bother you here, but is Professor Stein here right now?" Barry asked
"Well, after a year apart, I'm not letting him out of my sight." Clarissa replied
"As you should." Adaline smiled
"S.T.A.R Labs did quite a few tests on Martin, didn't they--and they said he was fine?" Clarissa said
"Yeah, why is something wrong?" Barry asked
"He just seems a little different, is all." she said
"Different how?" Adaline asked
"He's been asking for pizza, Martin despises pizza." Clarissa expressed
"Is that the delivery man, Oh Mr. Allen, Ms. Garcia. I suppose it's too much to hope for moonlight as a pizza boy, I'm famished." Stein said
"Okay." Barry said whisking away
Clarissa and Adaline's hair goes flying as Clarissa gasps.
"You get used to it." Adaline replies
Barry comes back handing a pizza box to Clarissa, who is stunned.
