I opened my eyes, seeing a bright light above me confused where I was at.
"Hey." Barry said weakly
I turned to him, he had healing holes in his neck but he was still smiling.
"Hi." I whispered
"Why did you do that?" Barry asked
"To be completely honest, I wasn't planning on appearing in the middle of the fight. I don't have that much control." I said
He stared at me, smiling, lacing our fingers together.
"How does that work?" he asked
"Um well I think it's tied very tight to my emotions so if I think about something normally I can get there." I said
"And what did you think about tonight?" He asked
"Saving you." I whispered
We smiled at one another before I started climbing out of the medical bed.
"Woah, woah, woah. What are you doing?" He asked
"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm getting up." I said
"You need to rest." He expressed
"What we need to do is protect Ronnie and Stein." I said standing
"Well I was planning on letting them stay at Joe's place." He said
"Oh why not at mine, I have more space?" I asked
"Maybe because Eiling saw your face and will be after you next." Barry proclaimed
"Oh good point, so does that mean you'll be staying with me?" I asked
"I mean, I could." Barry replied
"Only if you want to." I said walking away
We walked up to the West's home, Barry walking in first then Cait, Ronnie and then I in the rear. I closed the door smiling at them.
"You guys can stay in Iris' old room, it's kind of small but...hey." Barry said
I looked over to see Joe, he was confused.
"We have guests." Joe said
"Yeah, we do. I hope that's okay." Barry said
"Mi casa." Joe said
"This is Ronnie." Caitlin said
"Nice to meet you. Ronnie?! The-" Joe began
"Dead fiancé." Ronnie said nonchalantly
"Right, Beer?" Joe offered
"Thanks." Ronnie said taking the beer
"Dad? Barry?" Iris called out
We all turned, looking at her stunned.
"Iris, hey." Caitlin said
"Hi." Iris said
"What are you doing here?" Joe asked
"Oh my god, it's Tuesday." I said out loud
"Yeah, it is. I was gonna make us dinner, remember?" Iris asked
"Yeah." Joe and I said
"Yep." Barry replied walking toward her
"Here I'll help you. Got it." Barry said walking the bag to the kitchen
"I knew you'd forget." Iris said slightly disappointed
"Well there is plenty for everyone. Caitlin, what brings you by?" Iris asked
