I was walking out of S.T.A.R. Labs seeing Barry waiting for me in a blazer and a tie holding a single daisy. I rolled my eyes walking toward him, smiling. "Why hello." I smiled
"Hello." He replied "On time, surprised." i chuckled
"Couldn't be late for a very important date." He said lifting the flower
"Is that lonely daisy for me?" I asked
"Is it dumb? I was going to get you a bundle and I couldn't find Chrysanthemums." He babbled on
I pulled him in for a kiss, shutting him up, I pulled away.
"That was for me to stop talking." He said
"To stop worrying, it's perfect. Now shall we?" I asked
Barry whisked off to the restaurant seeing it was Mexican. I smiled as we sat, ordered and it finally arrived. We were eating the spiciest tacos in Central City and he bet that he could eat more than me. He lost as I laughed and silently cheered.
"I told you these were the hottest tacos in Central City." I said
"Oh I thought you were bluffing." Barry said looking around
"Just say it, I am the champion of all things spicy." I said
"You are the spicy champion of Central City." Barry said chugging down his water
"This requires soap and water, excuse me." I said giving him quick kiss
I went to the bathroom cleaning my hands, when I arrived back, he was fixing his tie. "Hey." I said looking at him
"Hey." He replied
"Cisco called?" I asked
"Yeah." He replied
"Little old lady?" I asked
"Also yes." He said "Gets you every time. So what's next Allen?" I asked
We got up and walked out grabbing drinks from a coffee bar on the street.
"So how's everything at CCPD? I feel like it's been forever since I've been." I asked
"Everything's normal, just a lot of paperwork. How's the hospital?" He asked
"Haven't been in, they just send me everything virtually and I shouldn't complain but all I do is stare at a computer screen. It's okay, that just means more time to help you and the team." I said
I looked up to see him staring.
"What?" I asked
"This has been a really nice date, I feel like we don't get to do this very often." he said
"Because we don't. We normally order in and eat wrapped in sheets." I said smirking
"Well we can go back, maybe watch a movie or?" he hinted
