I quickly walked back into the Cortex, placing my cup down. Caitlin was pacing in front of the console stopping to look at me.

"Hey." I said

"Hey." She replied coming on the other side of the console

Something was bothering her but I didn't want to pry. Caitlin was taking a sip of her tea when Barry came walking in.

"I was analyzing the particulates that Clay Parker and Shawna Baez left behind, and I found something very interesting. When Clay's cells came in contact with Shawna's, they adopted her properties." Caitlin said

"Something bothering you?" Barry asked

"Why would you ask that?" Caitlin asked

"You are doing that biting-your-lower-lip thing that you do when something is bothering you." Barry said

"I'm fine." Caitlin said

"Okay." Barry replied

"Cisco says I don't have a life." Caitlin spat out

"There it is." I said

"You don't, do you?" He asked

"I do! I cook and I eat and I read and I help you." Caitlin said

"So what you're saying is, you do everything that has nothing to do with having a life." Barry said

"You don't have to be rude about it." Caitlin expressed

"Hey, Adaline and I ain't doing much better." Barry said

"All I do is work, read, watch movies and help you guys." I said

"My social life consists of running at superhuman speed and Netflix." Barry explained

"But you two have each other." Caitlin said

"Cait, we've been on one date." I said lifting my cup to my lips

"What is that?" Caitlin asked pointing at the cup

I pulled the cup away and turned to see a number written on it. I rolled my eyes, placing my cup down.

"Oh great, it's a number from a man that was at Jitters." I said

"A man?" Caitlin asked intrigued

"His name was Elijah, we ran into each other spilling our drinks. I guess he told Liz to give me his number." I explained

"Well, are you going to call him?" Barry asked

I looked at him walking forward, not breaking eye contact.

"I don't know, should I?" I asked

"Lini-" Barry was cut off by the computer dinging.

"There is an armed robbery in progress. Two suspects, male and female in their 20's. Sounds like our meta-human Bonnie and Clyde are at it again." Caitlin said

Barry and I continued to make eye contact.

"Duty calls." I whispered

Barry looked me over once more before he was gone with the gust of wind.

"What is that about?" Caitlin asked
"Nothing." I said turning walking out of the Cortex

I walked back in seeing Barry in his normal clothes with Caitlin pressing gauze to his neck.

"You're barely, it just broke the skin." Caitlin said
"Guess I'm a lot faster than a speeding bullet." Barry said

"A bullet?" I called out

"Adaline." Barry called

"You could have died, Barry Allen." I said

He was standing in front of him, our eyes meeting once again before I looked to the floor.

"Shawna Baez, she can teleport." Barry said
"As in, "Beam me up Shawna?" Caitlin jokes
"Yes, of course. Quantum entanglement. The ability to manipulate interconnected particles over an infinite distance or as Einstein put it, spooky action at a distance." Wells said

"Like me?" I asked

"No, you travel through shadows, possibly even your own dimension. A shadow realm if you will." Wells explains

I nodded looking back at Barry who's eyes were still on me.

"Every time I got close, she'd disappear." Barry said
"Sounds like someone we know." Caitlin said

I looked at her staring at me.
"Low blow Cait." I whispered walking toward the console

"It was like we were playing a game of-" Barry said

"Peek-a-boo." Caitlin said excited

We looked at her.

"Come on, can't I name one?" Caitlin pleaded

"This one is all yours." I said

"How am I supposed to catch her if I don't know where she's gonna be?" Barry asked

"Everybody has their limits, Mr. Allen. Now that we know Shawna's powers, we'll focus on those limits." Wells said

"Alright let me know. I gotta change, I gotta go help Iris." Barry said
