I left, arriving home, dropping my bag, pulling off my boots. I carried up the stairs and into the closet before showering and changing into something comfy. I walked down the stairs, hearing someone knock on the door, confused. I walked over and opened the door seeing Barry dressed in a hoodie and sweats holding flowers, a bundle of Black Chrysanthemums.
"Hey." I said
"Hey, i wanted to come over, give you these and talk." he said
"Well come on." I said opening the door wider
We walked in taking off his shoes, he handed me the flowers. He walked to the couch as I placed the flowers in a vase before joining him.
"And what do we need to talk about?" I asked
"Last night." He said
I nodded.
"This isn't just sex to me, Adaline, this is real. I want this to be real. I didn't want to rush you, to pressure you. I wanted you to feel comfortable enough with me and I should have done this way sooner." Barry explained
"What do you mean?" I asked confused
"Adaline, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked
I felt my heart stop and my stomach beginning to tickle, my face grew warm and my eyes began to burn. I took a deep breath bringing him for a gentle kiss.
"Yes." I whispered
He smiled at me before kissing me again. We pulled away, smiling like idiots.
"Now should I go get us pizza or order Italian? Barry asked
"Oh, order Italian." I said pulling him up
"You order Italian and I'll meet you downstairs." I smiled
"Yeah and what you did for my dad, with Julius. That's pretty cool." Barry said
"Anything and everything I do is to protect anything and everything to do with you, Barry Allen." I said
