Barry raced through the streets of Central City trying to reach his destination.
"Barry, what's your ETA?" Cisco asked
Barry came to a halt, standing between two trucks.
"All right, I'm in position." Barry said
He placed on the meta-tech.
"Wait for my signal." Cisco said
"So the red that's Barry?" Iris asked
"Yes." Caitlin said
"And the blue?" Iris questioned
"Is Grodd." Caitlin replied
"Okay, here goes nothing." Cisco mumbled
Down in the sewers, Joe laid against the cold stone, Adaline's body pulled closer to him. Streams of smoke coming from the tunnels, some hitting Grodd, distracting him. He let out a giant roar as he backed away, growing angrier. He raced off down the tunnel away from the humans. Adaline shot up from her slumber, looking around disoriented.
"Beauty." Joe hissed
She turned, blinking several times finally noticing Joe.
"Joe!" She said
She tried to move but her body screamed out in pain, causing her to groan.
"Joe, are you hurt?" She asked "I'll be okay. Just be still, they will come for us, I just know it." Joe said
Adaline laid back down, letting her body adjust.
"The steam's working. Grodd's on the move." Cisco said
"I don't understand, what's the plan?" Iris asked "He's maneuvering Grodd into a tunnel 5.3 miles from Barry." Caitlin said
"So Barry can do what?" Iris asked
"Same thing he did to Girder." Cisco said "Supersonic punch, holy shit." Mateo said excited
"Hit it!" Cisco said "I can't believe I'm going to experience the Supersonic punch." Mateo laughed The four watched the monitor seeing the red and blue dots come closer together, when they finally met in the middle. Nothing.
"What happened?" Mateo asked "The supersonic punch failed." Cisco said
"It's okay, Cisco. The headset's working." Barry said Caitlin smiled as Cisco huffed out a puff of air. "Thank you Adaline Dylan Garcia." Cisco huffed
The two typed into their computers.
"Okay, uh, try some speed punches on him. Barry's groans echoed through the speakers.
"This isn't working." Barry called out "What if you try-" Caitlin was cut off by Barry's scream
