Adaline walked into the precinct looking around trying to find Barry when she bumped into someone. She turned to apologize, finding Eddie standing there instead.
"Oh Eddie, hey." She said "Adaline, just the person I wanted to talk to." He said with a smile
"Oh yeah, what's up?" She asked
He looked around before pulling her to the side, he was repeatedly looking around before pulling a small box out of his pocket, opening it to reveal a beautiful diamond ring. Adaline's eyes widen as her mouth drops open. "Edward Thawne, it's beautiful. She's going to love it." She gushed
"Do you think she's going to say yes?" Eddie asked
"Of course, she will. She loves you." Adaline replied
He smiled, putting the ring away, the happiest glow never leaving his face. "I only have one problem." he said "What?" She asked confused
"When I asked Joe for his blessing, he said no, repeatedly. I need you and/ or Barry to talk to him, find out why. Please? You know she would be heartbroken when she finds out Joe isn't on board." Eddie explained "Okay! Okay, I'll talk to him or I'll get Barry to talk to him." She said "Thank you, I appreciate it so much and so will the future Mrs. Thawne. Iris Thawne. Sounds pretty good, huh?" Eddie said before walking off
"I have a feeling she's going to want to hyphenate." Adaline mumbled before she made her way toward Barry's lab
Later that night, the team gathered together to test out Cisco's glasses to retrieve his dreams.
"Okay, can we go over this one more time?" Cisco asked nervously
"Yes, you put on the glasses, you fall asleep, and start dreaming. Not that hard." Caitlin said "Yeah, except I'm pretty sure I will die in this dream. If I go back into it, do I die in real life? I mean, what are we talking about here? Is this Inception or Dreamscape?" Cisco rambled
"Here, drink this." Joe said handing him a glass
"What, am I five?" Cisco asked
"Just drink it." Joe said "Okay, I'll drink it." Cisco said downing it
"You're going to be fine, Cisco." Barry said
"Yeah you have to be, or I will literally go batshit crazy." Adaline said with a smile
"Yeah, okay." Cisco said
He laid back as Caitlin and Adaline stood on either side of him.
"I'll hold your hand the entire time. Even though you will be asleep and have no clue I'm holding your hand but whatever it's the thought that counts." Adaline said "Thanks Dellie, anything else before I go under?" He asked
