Episode 11:
I was sitting on the Cortex watching the members of the Royal Flush Gang riding away from the scene and Barry was in pursuit.
"Oh Barry, there is an intersection coming up, hurry." Caitlin called out
"This should slow them down." Cisco said
I watched as they both ran the red light and went in opposite directions.
"Guys, which way?" Barry asked
"Left." "Right." Cait and Cisco said
"Right." Left." they said
"Opposite directions." i called out
"Stop, you both are telling me different things." Barry yelled
"Barry, Listen up and listen carefully. Here's what you are going to do. Now the Queen is trying to make it to the bridge, but I have a shortcut-- wait for it-- and left-left- right." Wells calls out
"I see her." Barry yelled
I walked away from the console watching the monitors on the wall.
"Make her go west before Fremont." Wells said
"Okay, how?" He asked
"I'd recommend a detour. Now the king is heading for the entrance to the interstate." Wells explained
"What entrance?" Barry said
I smirked
"Atta boy."
The three bikers all arrive at the same intersection.
"Check-" Wells said
"Got the keys." Barry called out
"Mate." He expressed
The police arrived on the scene as Barry came in stopping in the hallway.
"Give me some!" Cisco yelled doing a handshake with Barry
Barry walked in very excited, proud.
"Efficiently done, Mr. Allen." Wells said
"We need a picture." cisco said excited
"Pretty sure rule number one of having a secret identity is not taking pictures of yourself in the suit without a mask." Barry explained
"Oh come on, please. This is for us. This is to document all of this." Cisco pleaded
"Who knows? Maybe people in the future would want to know how all this happened." Wells said
"Oh now we definitely need to take the picture now." i said moving toward them
"Alright, well if you want the future to have the whole story we all have to be in it." Barry said fist bumping Cisco
"First, let me put makeup on." Caitlin said
"And I need to fix my hair." I said pulling it out of my bun
"The future does not care about your makeup." Cisco said
"And you look beautiful." Barry said
"Kiss-ass." I said
"Mhmm." Barry said standing pointing the camera to us
Wells sat in the middle, me behind him with Cisco to my left and Caitlin to my right. Barry will be standing behind me.
"Big smiles." Barry said
I stood up straightening my shirt.
"Three...two...one." Barry said
The camera flashed, Barry disappeared before reappearing again.
"Ha!" Barry said
"Does that count as a selfie?" Caitlin asked
"Technically." I said
"Absolutely." Barry said handed Cisco his phone back showing us the photo
"Sick, it came out great." Cisco said running off
I smiled at Barry before walking out of the Cortex. I walked into the work area, looking for my laptop and keys when I heard Barry walk in. I turned to look at him.
"Hey." I said smiling
"You are still coming to dinner right?" He asked
"Well of course. I'm going to need a ride though, someone brought me to work today." I smiled
"Of course." He said walking to me
He kissed me before letting me grab my bag, he grabbed on to me before running us in front of the house. I stumbled over, nearly falling. I felt Barry grab ahold of me, steading me.
"You okay?" he asked
"Yeah, just a little dizzy. I'll be over soon, gotta put things down." I said
He nodded in separate ways.
I walked in dropping my bag off and walking straight to Joe's, I walked in seeing Iris with a box.
"Iris, miss us already?" I asked
"Ha-ha, I just forgot a couple things." Iris smiled
"You sure you don't want to stay for dinner? Oh hey Beauty." Joe said
"Thanks but Eddie is painting all day and I swore I would help. Although, I'm really just going to do that thing where I get a little paint in my hair and my nose." Iris said as we walked toward the table
"Oh hey, someone from Central City Picture News called you the other day, I left the number on the fridge." Joe said sitting down
"What!?" Iris and I yelled
"Why did you tell me?" Iris asked
"Chill, just did." Joe said
Iris looked at me, squeezing my hand before running into the kitchen. Barry walked toward the table grabbing my hand.
"Hey, I heard some members of the Royal Flush Gang are heading to prison." Joe said happily
Iris let out a scream.
"Is that a good scream or bad scream?" Joe called out
Iris comes running out, grabbing my arm.
"Good, so good. I just got offered a job as a reporter at Central City Picture News." Iris said
My eyes grew wide and I released Barry's hand, grabbing onto Iris.
"Oh my god!" I yelled
I pulled her in for a hug.
"That's awesome." Barry said
"The editor is a fan of my blog." She said
"That is amazing." Barry said
"Oh my god." Iris breathed out
I moved toward Joe so Barry could hug Iris, seeing him not so excited.
"Oh, God." Joe smiled before downing his wine
Iris hugged Joe before walking toward the box.
"Okay well I have to go, tell Eddie the news." Iris said whisking out of the house
