"It sounds about right." She nodded. As careful as she wanted to be, she couldn't understand why Caleb hadn't come clean when he had the chance.

"What do their statements have to do with you bringing me to the station?" She asked with a frown.

"Because their stories were almost identical Lennox. And we have security footage, along with witnesses, describing you taking them into the lounge room almost as soon as me and Officer Paul walked through the front doors. You know me Len, you know what I'm thinking."

She sat there for a second as he watched her. "Officer Paul is under the impression that you, Caleb and Skye rehearsed your statements. To be honest, from the way it looks, I'm inclined to believe the same thing."

"Yeah but you know how it is Jay, nothing is ever as it looks on the surface." She tried.

"That's exactly what I was thinking." He nodded.

From the way he was looking at her, she knew she wasn't getting far with any cover story, so she kept quiet.

"Lennox, you and I both know that if they follow anybody, it's you. It always has been. Now I understand that they want to protect you, or do as you ask, but you know that coaching is a crime, and with Sasha's death being under the microscope now, an obstruction charge is the last thing you need on your plate, let alone your dad."
