As selfish as it sounded, Lennox didn't want to go to prison just because they'd had a disagreement, so she left the room to go after them both, only to see the cops intercept Caleb before he could leave the hospital. One of them she recognised, Detective Jason, Doctor Jason's brother. She stopped and watched, Skye watching too.

"Caleb Stewart?"

"Yeah?"

"We're very sorry for your loss kid. Would you mind having a chat with us?"

They gestured down the hall, and as they started walking away Caleb made eye contact with Lennox. Detective Jason followed his eyes and saw her too, but he didn't hesitate in walking away with Caleb and the other officer. Her father was watching too, she saw him across the room, and on his face was a look of concern; not because he didn't believe his daughter, but because he thought the cops would think she and her friends were lying. Because of what Caleb and Skye had to say, that's exactly what they thought. They didn't tell the truth however, much to Lennox's surprise, but she knew she was in trouble when, after talking to the two of them in the hospital, they took her down to the police station. She spent twenty minutes waiting in an interrogation room before Detective Jason and the officer walked in, who immediately took the lead and sat down opposite her.
