He panicked. For the first time, he panicked. He felt a kind of fear that hasn't washed over him since his early days on the job as an officer. But he'd dealt with situations like this before on cases, so as worried as he was about Lennox, he had to compartmentalise. Luckily the ground-floor apartment made carrying Lennox down to his car faster, and after strapping her into the passenger seat he ran around to the driver's side and began driving in a way that definitely would've gotten him arrested had there been squad cars in the area. Once he'd arrived at the hospital he quickly unbuckled Lennox.
"Len? Come on talk to me," He felt her pulse.
Her heart was palpitating, but it wasn't racing. She gave him no response, so he didn't waste time taking her into the hospital.
"I need help! Hey I need some help over here!" He yelled.
Patients and nurses alike glanced in his direction, but only the nurses from the reception desk came around and rushed over.
"What happened?"
"I need Doctor Rosewood, this is his daughter." "Oh my God, page Doctor Rosewood." She glanced at the nurse stood behind her, who ran off as the first nurse turned back to him.
"Is she responsive?"
"No, it's been 10 minutes now she collapsed and I can't get anything out of her."
"Over here!" A third nurse brought over a bed, which Jay carefully laid Lennox down on.
"Please, you have to help her,"
"We'll do our best Sir, Doctor Rosewood is on his way just try and stay calm."
