He ended the message, looking at his phone for a few seconds as if Lennox was about to call, but when nothing happened he pocketed the phone and went to find Caleb and Skye. Whilst looking for them his phone rang, and in a panicked yet swift motion, he unveiled the phone from his pocket and answered it without looking at the ID.
"Lennox! What the hell were you thinking?!"
"Woah! Why are you yelling at me?"
It was Chelsea, much to Jay's dismay. He stopped in the middle of the hallway.
"Chelsea?"
"Yes, sorry. Clearly not who you wanted it to be."
"Look I don't have time for this right now, Lennox is missing, she ran away from the hospital."
"I...what? What exactly is happening over there Jay? Are you ever actually coming back?"
"I have to go, I'll call you later okay?"
"What? No, not okay,"
"Bye Chelsea."
"Wait, Jay!"
He ended the call. As he wandered around the hospital something inside him told him to call Lennox's phone again, so on a whim he gave it a shot. It rang, but this time, being in a different location as he had ventured the hospital halls trying to find Caleb and Skye, he heard Lennox's ringtone. It hadn't changed since the first time he heard it after meeting her; the same default melody of Lennox's cell phone could be heard faintly in another hallway, and after following the sound, Jay came to a hallway intersection which showed Caleb and Skye on his left, down the corridor arguing about what to do with the phone call. He stared at them as they bickered, catching Skye's attention as she shot a glance down the hall and spotted him.
