"Welcome back." He said blankly.

She sighed and laid down again. "Hi. What happened?"

"Will gave you a sedative. He couldn't give you anymore pain meds, so he figured you could catch up on some sleep."

"Hm. My head is killing me." She rested her hand on her face, dragging it down after a few seconds and then slowly sitting up.

She propped herself up on her elbows as he watched her, but after just a few seconds of looking at him she narrowed her eyes.

"What's that look for?"

"What look?"

"That one. You're looking at me like I killed your dog." At that Jay's eyebrows went up.

"Not quite. But you need to apologize to Caleb."

"Apologize? Why?"

"You can't be serious. You hurt him Lennox, I know you were in pain but there was no need for what you did."

She closed her eyes, trying to fathom what on earth he was talking about.

"What do you mean?"

"Lennox it's not funny."

"I'm not laughing Jay, what are you talking about? What did I do?"

He was in disbelief. Did she really not remember breaking Caleb's wrist?

"He had surgery this morning, after you snapped his wrist in half."

He made sure to enunciate his words, and the added effect served its purpose. She stared at him in shock horror. "I did what?"
