His demeanor suddenly shifted to a much more gentle one, clearly touched by Lennox's care for whether he lived or died.

"Well I appreciate that. But what makes you think the feeling isn't mutual? I don't want you going back to that house, not by yourself. And you're not exactly Caleb or Skye's favourite person right now."

He had a point. She sighed, and after thinking of a solution she shrugged.

"Doesn't matter. I wouldn't make them go back with me anyway, not now."

"So what are you gonna do?"

"I don't know."

She stood up as he raised an eyebrow, which made her roll her eyes. "But I'm not going back, not yet. And if I do, I won't go without telling you okay?"

"Okay, I'll take it." He nodded as a wave of lightheadedness washed over Lennox.

She swayed slightly even though there was no breeze in the apartment, and to try and stop the room from spinning she closed her eyes as he stood up. "You're going home now right?" He asked.

"Yeah, I uh...I left Caleb and Skye alone, dad got called back to the hospital for an emergency, or something." She frowned and squeezed the bridge of her nose as she spoke.

"Lennox? You alright?" He frowned, noticing her sudden decline.

"Yeah. Just," She forced her eyes open. "Just tired." She whispered.

Her eyes closed again, unable to withstand the heaviness of her eyelids. Her sudden collapse took Jay by surprise.

"Jesus, Lennox? Len can you hear me? Lennox!"
