Lennox spent the next 30 minutes waiting for the police to arrive. When the first officer walked through the entrance doors she stood up from her seat in the hall, watching one of the nurses direct him to Doctor Jason. As soon as he was out of sight she went over to Caleb and Skye.

"Come here." She tapped Skye's shoulder.

They both looked to her.

"Where?"

"Just come on."

She walked across the hall into the empty lounge room, and they reluctantly followed her in.

"What do you want Len?" Caleb asked.

He'd finally calmed down and wasn't crying anymore, but it was clear that he was on his last legs when it came to patience, so she tried to be as gentle as possible.

"The doctors called the police after calling Sasha's death, because she was perfectly healthy before this, there was no logical reason for her to die."

Caleb just dropped his head back as Skye stared at her. She had panic written all over her face.

"They're ruling it suspicious circumstances?"

"Yes."

"Hold on a second, how did you find out? They haven't told us what happened to her yet."

Caleb frowned.

"My dad told me when he came out of the ER. Look, the cops just arrived, and they need to talk to us okay? We're the ones that brought her in, they're gonna want to know what happened to her,"

"And you wanted to make sure we were all on the same page." Caleb said tensely, crossing his arms over his chest as she sighed.

"Look, I know it's not the conversation you want to have right now, neither do I, but we still don't know what caused her death, the doctors haven't spoken to us yet. We can't mention anything about the thorn, or the note, or anything about the house."
