When he pulled it out he saw Skye's name, but so did Chelsea.
"Skye? Who the hell is Skye?"
"Lennox's friend at the hospital, I have to take this."
"Uh no you don't. Jay don't you dare answer that phone call!" She stared at him as he walked away from her and put the phone to his ear.
"Skye what's wrong?"
"Jay you need to come back to the hospital, something's wrong with Lennox she keeps asking for you, I think she's in a lot of pain."
"Have you talked to Will?"
"No, but she's not due for medication for a couple hours yet, he can't give her anything."
"Alright, I'm on my way."
"Okay."
Skye ended the phone call, and Jay pulled on his shoes by the front door before grabbing his jacket from the bedroom.
"Jay you can't leave. Are you seriously leaving right now?" Chelsea asked, staring at him in disbelief as he walked up the hallway towards her.
"I have to go to the hospital."
"No, we have to fix this, you can't- Jay this isn't fair, this is exactly what I'm talking about!"
She stood in front of the front door so that he couldn't open it, so he stood in front of her.
"Fix what Chelsea? I've said everything I want to say, and you've just spent the last 30 minutes yelling everything you could possibly say at me, so what else do you want from me? I have to go."
He waited a few seconds before reaching around her for the handle, and she stepped aside as he opened the door and headed down the hall.
