With Elvira and Malcolm:
The two kids were sitting side by side in separate chairs, the young Velociraptor Angler and young Lake Monster both refusing to meet their afraid and worried eyes with the group of angry adults talking around them.
Having had no choice but to tell them all the truth about what had happened, the two kids could only keeping thier gazes to the floor, the though of what might have happened had Malcolm not intervened when he had.
“Your brother nearly had my daughter killed!” exclaimed Dexx angrily, the Anglerfish glaring daggers at the Possum, who in turn gasped in angry shock before snarling.
“Well if your daughter wasn’t such a crybaby-” began Scott, but the Possum never even got the chance to finish his sentence before getting punched in the face by said Anglerfish.
Scott snarled as he rubbed his snout before pouncing, the Possum attempting to bite at the Anglerfish as he was held back by Rad and Thorn, while Venno got in front of her husband to try and hold him back.
“That’s ENOUGH! Both of you!” shouted Venno angrily, the pregnant Velociraptor glad to see that her husband was quick to settle down the moment she stepped in front of him.
Queen Pin sighed in exasperation, the Voodoo Doll most likely rolling her eyes internally with the lack of actual eyeballs to do so with, one of them being a buttonhole the other remained a forever X.
“Listen, if anything, this is your former boss’ fault for allowing that boy around MY granddaughter in the first place knowing FULL WELL how he’s been bullying her and calling her names” said Queen Pin, the Voodoo Doll crossing her arms and turning to glare at the old Spider who was now seated in his wheelchair.
Jerry hissed, his eyes glowing a bright green as he clenched the armrests of his wheelchair.
“The kid wasn’t bullying her you bloody fool! He’s a fucking nervous wreck around her becuase he’s fucking shy! He’s been living a life as a shut in for nearly his entire life because his father could care less how he’s been raising his only son” exclaimed Jerry, the older Spider knowing it would be best to defend the young Lake Monster rather than throw him under the bus, especially since the kid had gone through so much.
Dexx huffed, the Anglerfish crossing his arms as he turned to glare at the young Lake Monster, causing Malcolm to stiffen up in fear, to which Elvira was quick to notice his flinch under her father’s gaze.
“I can forgive him for being a nervous wreck around my daughter…but I don’t think I can forgive him for putting her at risk the way he did” muttered Dexx, the Anglerfish turning his gaze away from the young Lake Monster.
Malcolm could only lower his ears even further before glancing away, the young Lake Monster trying to keep the tears in his eyes from falling.
He was quick to jump in fright when he felt a hand on his shoulder, causing him to glance over and see Elvira had a smile on her face.
“Don’t worry, Malcolm, I forgive you. Friends?” asked Elvira, the young Velociraptor Angler whispering silently so no one else but him would hear.
Malcolm was shocked, to say the least. The young Lake Monster blushing lightly as he glanced away, the shame a regret basically seeping out of him.
Elvira frowned when she saw this, the young Velociraptor Angler tilting her head to the side in confusion.
