"Evelyn!" Sherrif Stlinski shouted over and over again, shaking the young woman as she lay against the wall in the substation. Deputy Marcus Steiner was crouched next to him, trying to help. Lydia was on the sheriff's other side, holding Evelyn's hand as the three other teens stood behind them, looking fearful. Evelyn gasped awake suddenly, looking around, panicked. "It's okay, you're fine," Stlinski reassured her as Lydia reached forward, hugging Evelyn tightly. Evelyn wraps her arms around the young banshee, slightly surprised by the sudden display of affection.

"Evelyn, your heart it, it wasn't beating," Scott whispered as Lydia pulled back, standing up and walking to stand next to Stiles, who looped an arm around her shoulders, pulling her close.

"I'm fine now," Evelyn said, taking the sheriff's hand and letting him pull her to her feet. "Stiles, are you okay?" She asked, confused. There should have been no way he survived that unharmed.

"I'm fine" Stiles told her. Evelyn stared at the teen, confused.

"How you were right in front of me at, you know what? I'm just glad everyone is okay," Evelyn said. Wait, where's Kira? She asked.

"Outside, with some of the deputies and an ambulance," Lydia said "we didn't want to explain this."

"Well, Barrow is dead, and you guys are going to have to explain all this to Agent McCall." Stlinski said.

"Well, that's just wonderful," Evelyn grumbled. Agent McCall wasn't exactly her biggest fan; he didn't understand the supernatural world and questioned her ability to teach as a young single mother who had run away at a young age for seemingly no reason. She was a puzzle he couldn't solve, and that frustrated him.

Evelyn sat curled next to Lydia on the couch in Stlinski's office while Agent McCall questioned them. "So when did you get there?" He asked Stiles.

"At the same time, Stiles said. As who?" Agent McCall asked.

 "As me" Scott said.

"Was that a coincidence?" Agent McCall asked.

"Was what a coincidence?" Scott asked.

"You two arriving at the same time," Agent McCall said.

"Are you asking me?" Stiles asked.

"I think he's asking both of you," Lydia said. Evelyn smirked.

"Okay, I'll answer the questions" Agent McCall said. Evelyn quickly turned her head so the Agent would not see the wide smile spreading across her face at the trick the teens had managed to pull. She was supposed to be the responsible adult, after all.

"I'll ask the questions" Agent McCall corrected. "So you found a message in the chemistry closet at school telling Barrow to kill Kira, and so what led you to the substation?" He asked.

"Well, Barrow used to be an electrical engineer," Stiles said, "in charge of that substation, so I figured."

"That's one good deduction, Stiles" Agent McCall said.

"Well, I take after my pops" Stiles said "you know he's in law enforcement." Stlinski coughed, suppressing a laugh.

"Just answer the man's questions, Stiles," he said when Agent McCall turned to look at him.

"And where were you two during this?" The Agent asked, looking at Scott and Kira.

"Eating pizza," Scott said at the same time, Kira said, "eating sushi." They switched their answers, speaking in sync once again. "Eating sushi and pizza," they finally said.

"And you, Ms Argent," Agent McCall asked.

"Oh, I was at home until I realized that I had left some important papers at the school building, so I went to pick them up and met Stiles and Lydia there. I figured I should at least check out their theory." Evelyn lied, knowing the evidence would support her claim. She'd made sure it would.
