forgetting

I brought dinner Evelyn said holding up a sandwich to Parrish thanks I've been stuck here all night he said. At least you didn't have to deal with Scott and Stiles Evelyn said. Well there's a kid that Liam found a few minutes ago it's kind of odd Parrish said. Is that why the office blinds are closed Evelyn asked sitting down across from him. The two had grown close over the last few months even going on a date once or twice before they both realized it wasn't going anywhere. Evelyn still wasn't over Derek and Parrish knew it despite the fact that part of him still hoped she would move on. Hoped he would have a chance with her.

Evelyn walked through the hallway of the school building she had gotten a job as a substitute. It was the end of the day and she was leaving to go pick up Lexie. Where are you two rushing off to she asked Scott and Stiles as they almost knocked her down running through the hallway. Um looking into that kid from earlier Scott said before running away again.

Evelyn sat in the darkness of the small armory below the apartment it had been quiet for the past few months but for the past couple weeks she'd had a weird feeling like something was coming it was probably being antsy not liking things so calm she reasoned but just in case she was making more arrows. Evelyn froze feeling something was wrong. She couldn't figure it out but something was wrong Stiles she shouted suddenly. Evelyn jumped up rushing out of the apartment. She jumped in her car heading for the school. She drove four times the speed limit down the road rushing to the school knowing that noone would pull her over. She finally pulled into the parking lot to see someone in Stiles's jeep. Stiles she shouted getting out of the car. She rushed towards the jeep stopping when she realized that it was Lydia in the car. The banshee stumbled out of the jeep crying. Remember she muttered I have to remember. Evelyn hugged her and the two girls just sat there for a while Evelyn trying to comfort Lydia. Both trying desperately to hold onto the shadow of Stiles that lived in their memory.

Evelyn woke up I can't remember she whispered. She was panicked what was she supposed to remember no she thought not what who. She sat up sweat dripping down her forehead as if she had just had a nightmare except she couldn't remember having one. She had forgotten something or someone and her gut was telling her that it was important. She leaned forward gripping the sides of the bed what was it she mumbled what am I supposed to remember.
